Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals That New TERMINATOR Is Called TERMINATOR: GENISYS

As filming comes to an end on Alan Taylor's (Thor: The Dark World) new Terminator movie, star Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken to Twitter to confirm that the title of the movie is Terminator: Genisys. We also have the official title card from the @Terminator account!

We originally thought that Terminator 5 would be called Terminator: Genesis, but as you can now see, the title will in fact be the oddly spelled...Terminator: Genisys. What relevance this actually has in terms of the plot remains to be seen. What do you guys think about the new title? Check out the reveal below and then be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place!

Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup - we couldn't have done it without you. I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I'll be back.

Alan Taylor will redeem himself after the lackluster movie called Thor: The Dark World.

"How do you reboot a franchise without finishing the story which began in T1????? I wanted to see how John Connor and the Resistance finally defeats the machines. I'm sick and tired of seeing terminators in the past using weapons of that time. They talked so much about futuristic warfare and we got a nice tease of it in T4 so I was expecting T5 to be explosive with so much cool futuristic weapons. Now it's a reboot smh. Maybe this movie is T5 and we just don't know it yet but if this is indeed an actual "reboot" I'm gonna be a disappointed die hard terminator fan =("

Maybe the reboot is actually the sequel? It is time travel after all...

Wow.
Multiple studios bid on the rights for Terminator, and the one that pays an arm and a leg for it, decides this is what they should do.

Honestly, shouldn't they have obvious hairpieces? Ones that grow all the more obvious with age...
