ScreenCrave nabbed these images of the new Light Cycle design from the Tron: Legacy display at Disney's D23 Exposition event. Fans of the original Tron will be happy to note how similar the design is to the Light Cycles from the 1982 classic.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, Tron: Legacy sees the return of Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner to the roles of Kevin Flynn and Tron, respectively.

Those are way cool.

I loved the TRON video game back in the 80's. The cycle part was fun to play.

I agree with LEE, gonna go dig up the original this weekend.

wait... what? how do hubless choppers work? how in the hell is that possible?
Joe6Pack74
Joe6Pack74 - 9/11/2009, 9:26 AM
@ThorougbredSteele0 the bearing surface is on the inner rim. Actually the rim becomes the hub, just a really big hub. Choppers Inc. does a better looking chopper than the Amen choppers version above. They have been around 10+ years but they are mostly one off's as they are expensive and hard to build.

RATNER UPDATE: Has Brett Ratner been listening in to our little thread about him here at CBM? I don't know, but Ratner Tweeted this last night:

@BrettRatner: ATTN COMIC BOOK FANS: THERE ARE 3 SIDES TO EVERY STORY. YOUR SIDE, MY SIDE, AND THE TRUTH. AND NO ONE IS LYING.

This looks AMAZING! A thousand times better than leaked version, it's nice being able to see everything.

Ratner isn't a bad director, if anything the directing was pretty good, it was the writing that sucked. However, his attitude towards the "comic geeks" is pretty shitty.

theFACE - 9/11/2009, 10:27 AM
hey Ratner, if you are reading this. if we didn't buy the comics, the characters wouldn't exist and you wouldn't have been able to make that movie an earn yourself a few quid, so why dont you pipe the feck down and deal with the fact that you made a shit movie.

Lets be honest we have all done something really stupid in the past where we knew we were wrong and selfish and disrespectful. Thats when people usually try to blame the drink or drugs , but in Ratner's case he blamed the comic book fans. Then people try to say that they dont care what others think and that they were just trying to have fun. But they always know that they were wrong and just being a bad person/director. At his age and the scope of his transgression i can only ask ...... Brett, doth your Douche Baggery know no bounds? Bad Form sir, bad form indeed.

oh and Tweet this , "HI my name is Brett Ratner, and i am a douche." Take the first step towards all of our healing.

Sicerely, Shibazz Jenkins

But the buring question(s) I want to know are:

1. Does it really work/run, or is it just a prop?

2. IF it DOES work, where can I get one?!!!

I duuno if I like acting in the Sc-Fi/fantasy genre. Sure

Mario - it's almost a given that 'Tron: Legacy' will kick the snot out of 'The Green Hornet'! Hell, 'The Hanna Montana Movie' could kick the crap out of Seth Rogen's 'Green Hornet'!!

Loganoneil,

Hannah Montana movie! lol. I don't think green hornet will do THAT bad, but yeah Tron 2 will dominate in December.

brett ratner has made some good movies, but x-men's story was just plain stupid. it shud have been the apocalypse and sinister, and not magneto running the show again. just redone version of the first one with...
