Despite the fact that Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice failed to do well with critics and divided fans, Warner Bros. is still confident in their DC Film Universe. So much so that they've added two new films to DC's film slate and moved back Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman a whole three weeks earlier. One of the most anticipated and mysterious films of DC's slate is SHAZAM, which Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced that he has signed on to be Black Adam, the film's main antagonist. Not much else is known about the film, and after the disappointment of Batman v Superman, fans have been speculating as to whether or not SHAZAM would ever see the big screen.

Well, it appears that SHAZAM is still a go! During tonight's MTV Movie Awards, The Rock took to the stage showing his villainous pride while wearing a Black Adam t-shirt and saying "Black Adam is coming." It's now safe to say that Warner Bros. still plans to move ahead with their DC Film Universe. Calling it now the Shazam movie will now be a Black Adam movie. They will make some tweaks due too DRJs box office draw and Black Adam will now be an AnitHero.

I love MOS but on second viewing still think BVS is only alright, I think it's time for Snyder to go.

Get rid of Lois as well

I think Dwayne Johnson will do great, he has the presence to carry the badassary of that character.
With a good script, and the right director, it'd be epic.
I can't wait to see him and Billy Batson throw down.

To elaborate, it's inspired casting like this that makes me not give up on the DCEU just yet.
I didn't like BVS, but I'll still stick with the other movies and not just blindly hate or write them off, because
of one director's ineptitude. I want this universe to thrive and succeed. The more quality Comic Movies the better.
Which means we all win as fans. Time will tell.

Great news The Rock is perfect for Black Adam. Shazam as a Black Adam movie with him in Billy's place would be cool as an anti hero. And the 7th member of Justice League. But if Shazam is cast and in the movie my choice would be Brandon Molale
