Dude, seriously though, can you not see that a SILVER SURFER Spin-off would be [frick]ing amazing!!!

FOX has already said we'll see the real GALACTUS and will not connect it to the FF movies!!!

They know they [frick]ed up and they know secretly they [frick]ed up ORIGINS!!! Thats why DEADPOOL will have no connection to that as reported!

We can hope FOX has learn't their lesson on early Superhero flicks, this is why their rebooting FF as well!

Im hoping WOLVERINE 2, DEADPOOL, MAGNETO, GAMBIT, SILVER SURFER, DAREDEVIL reboot, and FF reboot will all blow us away!!

Tyler----Sounds like your saying lets call the Silver Surfer off completely because I didn't like The Fantastic 4. That doesn't make too damn much sense to me. It falls allong the same lines as Thors gonna suck because Electra wasn't any good.
Eventually Fox is going to realize they can make a good adaptation for just as much money as a bad one. I for one will be there to see it.If there was ever a character with awsome movie potential its the Surfer.(Yes I hated the entire,he gets his power from his board crap)but That wouldn't be difficult to fix in a solo movie and he was bad to the bone in FF2. Aside from the power in the board fact.

Hawks: No, I'm not saying call it off completely. I'm responding to Lee's super excitement over the movie getting made, despite what I've already said in my previous comments. Thor and Elektra don't fall in the same line, Thor is being handled by Marvel Studios who have proven to make excellent CBM's. Elektra was not made by MS.

Tyler--- What I'm saying is that fox brought in some serious coin with their movies, not paying much attention to the source. Then they started seeing how much cash films that like Iron Man and TDK took in and started to listen to what the fans actually wanted. Hence talk of FF reboots, Silver Surfer movies not connected to FF and so on. They are going to get it right pretty soon. And no thats not faith in the studio, its faith in the executives that run it figuring out how their competition made more money than they did.

Hawks: Then why was Origins so far off from the source? It came out after TDK and Iron Man, yet it was obvious Fox hadn't learned from them.

They COULD get them right with the reboots, etc., but it isn't a sure-fire fact. They could simply f*ck it up worse than the originals, it's not inevitable or set in stone that they'll get it right soon.

I want them to get it right, I really do, but all I'm saying is that with their track record, I don't have much hope for their future projects.

The fact is, Fox havent made a decent CBM yet - what makes anyone think that Silver Surfer will be any different!?

Elektra, Fantastic Four 1 & 2, Wolverine, Daredevil, X-Men 1 - 3

The DD: Directors Cut was ok and Wolverine was enjoyable but in all honestly crap and apart from mixed opinions on the first 2 X movies I'd say that nearly everyone here agrees that the rest are awful!

Im not saying dont make a SS movie but I dont want one - the only reason Im looking forward to Spider-Man 4 is because Raimi made 2 great Spider-Man movies before 1 bad one. If he had made 3 awful movies I doubt anyone here would want a fourth as much as most of us do!

I really dont get how anyone can have faith that Fox will suddenly start making good CBM's especially after recent news stating that X-Men: First Class will be like Harry Potter!

I agree Hawks@! Fox execs are trying to fix
what their individual movie-makers have done
with Marvel properties because they have lost
a pile of money on the movies that were not
done right. They're trying to make them more like
Marvel has done with Iron Man and DC with Dark
Knight.

FOX has made a lot of very good movies through
the years, many of them Oscar winners so their
studio is very well capable of making a good
movie!

If they look at what we the fans have
been saying about staying more in line with the
character's original characteristics and look
at the movies done right, that made a ton of money,
they can begin to make movies that are true to
the characters and get more peole in the theater
seats!

I think they are starting to learn what is good in
a CBM from Marvel and some from DC and are getting
their crap together! If they start making excellent
Marvel movies I will gladly pay my money to see the
movies!

After all they aren't in the movie business for their health but to make a profit!

OZY: Im not sure about Snyder directing an AC movie but I can imagine it! Great casting choice with Miller - he'd make a great Altair! Not sure who I'd cast as Ezio though...(just finished AC II and its awesome!!!)
