Andrew Garfield ("The Social Network") is a busy boy, promoting his new movie
99 Homes at the presitigious Toronto International Film Festival. While there, he chatted with the Toronto Sun about the new
Sinister Six movie that is in the works. That film is being directed by Drew Goddard, who previously did the horror-comedy
Cabin In The Woods.
“I know more than I’m allowed to say right now,” Garfield told us.
“I can say I’m really excited about Drew Goddard, who’s going to be writing and directing The Sinister Six movie. And whether I’m involved in that or not is kind of immaterial.”
Sinister Six won't arrive in theaters until November 11, 2016, but a the next Amazing Spider-Man film won't arrive until 2018. Geez, I don't even know if I'll be alive by then. Marc Webb didn't exactly leave the franchise in great shape. Hopefully they use the extra time wisely to get the Spidey franchise on the right track for once.

With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...
