More TV spots for Spider-Man: No Way Home have found their way online today, giving us plenty of new footage for us to take a deep dive into. For starters, there are some amazing shots of both Sandman and Electro, with Spidey at one point stuck in the giant Flint Marko's fist. Jamie Foxx, meanwhile, gets to speak - and power up - and looks like he's stepped straight out of the comics.

Spidey's battle with Doctor Octopus also gets a fair bit of attention, and it feels like we'll have seen a big chunk of this encounter before the threequel swings into theaters. As well as seeing more of Otto's confusion that this isn't his Peter Parker, we witness the villain's surprise at the wall-crawler's four extra arms!

There are lots of other spectacular snippets to be found, but chief among them are the now seemingly finished visual effects for Spider-Man's clash with Doctor Strange. The imagery there is truly mind-bending, and we'd be willing to bet on this sequence being a highlight in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Honestly, if your heart isn't racing with excitement after watching these, we don't know what to say...

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."

Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.

I think it's Doc Ock facing off against Lizard and Hooded Goblin taking on Electro who were cut out of the shot.

Just a wild theory based on not much.

@ElricReturns - Theory straight off of Tik-Tok 🤦🏽‍♂️

It's the other Spider-Men fighting alongside Tom. Accept it

@ElricReturns -

That shot is clearly the spidermen but I'm sure ock is gonna fight with the spidermen🐶

Yall are likely right. I'm not putting any credit into that theory I suggested. Just putting it out there lol

@lordSTALE - I don't use Tik Tok. But I don't doubt you.

It probably is the other Spidermen in the shot, as everyone believes. I was just thinking how much more dynamic those shots would be with Doc Ock engaging Lizard on the lower frame, Tom engaging Sandman mid frame, and Gobby engaging Elctro in the air top frame.

It probably is just all 3 Spidermen though.

But what if Andrew and Tobey literally are just cameos at the very end after the final battles have been finished, and the story really is about Peter finding a way to save these villains from Doctor Strange sealing their fates, and redeeming himself who was framed as a killer by Mysterio, by not letting Strange essentially kill these bad guys. And Peter does that by convincing Otto and then Norman to help him stop, and save, the others.

And we only see Andrew and Tobey when Tom is returning the villains to their universes.

I mean who knows how this could play out. For all we know, Doctor Strange is really Mysterio and all of No Way Home is a trick. Who actually knows?

@ElricReturns - no f@#$ing way are they squeezing in a goblin revenge story into this. Doc ock I buy but you lost me at goblin.

@ElricReturns - Imagine Sony started the rumour the other two are in it just to get pre-sales lol 🤣 and they're actually not in it

@Origame - what if it's as simple as Otto helps Peter and Strange create a cure for Norman that gets him clear headed? That may be why he's seen in battle minus the helmet.

@abd00bie - I believe they are in it, I'm just not certain what capacity. Who knows, maybe they save the return of the villains to their worlds for the end credits and that's when Tobey and Andrew cameo, so they aren't technically "in the movie"... 🤷🏾‍♂️

@ElricReturns - still not buying it. I mean, goblin is literally the only villain out of the ones we know are in the movie that's unquestionably evil. Even without the serum he'd probably still be evil given what we've seen.

@Origame - comic's Norman, absolutely. Movie Norman? Absolutely not. The very premise of the mirror arguments proves there is a good man in that version, who may be misguided and over reaching power, but he isn't an evil man by nature. It's the Goblin serum that twists his mind.

That absolutely could be cured. Could be.

@ElricReturns - Except the movie has both sides of him, Norman and the goblin, interacting with each other. Norman is well aware of what Goblin is doing, and yet shows zero remorse and even helps the goblin in the end by trying to distract Peter. The closest he ever got was having second thoughts when he learned Peter was Spider-man, but even then it didn't take much coaxing to get him fully on board with killing Peter.

@Origame - you're trying to tell me Norman would be killing people without the serum in the movie's? Nah, I don't by that at all. Norman was a good guy before, all be it misguided and power hungry. I was devastated his work was being disregarded and tested on himself, but I don't by him being evil before. Not even close. If that's the case, every hero who's ever experimented on himself is evil too. His intentions were absolutely never villainous before. Selfish and ultimately dangerous, but hie wasn't trying to hurt anyone before the serum.
Origame
Origame - 11/21/2021, 6:58 PM
@ElricReturns - honestly the only reason I'd say he wouldn't have killed people is because the serum gave him the means/inspiration to kill them. You can even see his anger towards his partner over the "taking back the formula" scene.

Harry actually proves the serum does nothing psychologically as, while he also has mirror scenes like Norman, those start BEFORE he takes the serum. This heavily implies that those mirror scenes aren't actually alternate personalities created by the serum but instead artistic choices to convey what the characters are thinking.

And it's straight forward shown at the end there's no real evil personality at the end when Peter finally says "I have a father, his name is Ben Parker" to Norman's plea for help. By saying this it's telling Norman he knows he's a toxic and manipulating figure in his life, and in context of Norman claiming he's being controlled by the goblin persona, makes it abundantly clear that his "good guy" routine is just more manipulating.

@ElricReturns - Hey, "not much" can help produce some seriously wild theories!

Almost all of this is speculation anyway, so a great deal of what we are reading here will be incorrect, so what does it matter?

Go for it! Have fun with it!!!

@LSHF - exactly my thoughts. I'm not declaring facts or even my opinion, just an idea really.
