Andrew Garfield is perhaps best known for his role as the wall-crawler in last year's rebooted Spider-Man film, The Amazing Spider-Man. Earlier this month, Sony Pictures announced that two sequels had been planned following next year's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Surprisingly, the studio has given Marc Webb a lot of leniency with the highly anticipated sequel, Garfield (29) goes on to say that "the first film was the studios' call (On the origin story aspect), that wasn't my choice". Andrew Garfield also reveals that he "knows nothing"about the upcoming 4th film in the new Spider-Man series. Garfield believes that Spider-Man should "always be a boy, not a man". While this may (or may not) come as sad news for some people, Andrew Garfield has also revealed that he hasn't signed on for a fourth film. Although we already knew this. But, that does not mean Garfield will not sign up for a fourth and more, this has been done on many occasions with actors such as Hugh Jackman, Robert Downey Jr, Daniel Craig and many more, so I would say Garfield will most likely sign up for a fourth film, what do you guys think? Leave a comment below and let me know!

@SlaveMasterFlexx, Andrew does love the character. The difference between wolverine and spidey is that wolverine is an adult and has been seen to age a little bit in the comics. But spidey has always had a youthful look. Andrew wont be able to look young forever.

He'll come back for a 4th film. Lol.

He's implying that the first film shouldn't have been an origin story, and the fact that it was made it a 4 movie arc when it could've been 3. But then again. An easy solution to this is to film the 3rd and 4th one back to back Lord of The Ring style. It would honestly help the story, continuity, contract and scheduling issues, and the age dilemma in the long run.

I enjoy Garfield's spider-man,he embodies more of spider-man's character (to me) than Tobey did. I like the approach that Spider-man can be like a kid most of the time but there has to be the dynamic when shit gets real and Spider-man's serious.

If he doesn't play the part through all four movies I will get so pissed.. Changing actor for PETER PARKER does not work out!! It will seem unnatural.. please andrew, stay for all four movies!!

This might be one of the dumbest things I've heard all day. Peter DOES become a man. He's been a man MUCH longer than he's been a boy. Sure, that's not the case in the Ultimate comics, but still. Plus, I doubt Garfield will turn the role down when a fat paycheck is offered to him. Plus, he'll only be 35 in 2018.
