Spider-Man: Far From Home star Jake Gyllenhaal continues to be one of the most entertaining celebrities on Instagram, as the actor has now shared a video revealing just how much work goes into putting on Mysterio's comic accurate costume. There's no fishbowl helmet (that's added with VFX), but it's clearly not an easy task and takes quite a bit of time.

Heading into the Marvel Studios sequel, no one really expected the big screen Mysterio to wear a costume so similar to his comic book counterpart so it's to director Jon Watts' credit that we ended up with a version of the character who looks like he's stepped straight out of the source material.

It's unclear what the future holds in store for Jake Gyllenhaal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Spider-Man: Far From Home, but his performance has received rave reviews and fans would definitely like to see more of him. The actor recently visited a children's hospital in costume alongside Tom Holland as Spider-Man, so he clearly doesn't mind putting it on too much!

The costume department the moment Jake stepped into the trailer:

And to think that in the end that also turned out to be an elaborate illusion thanks to his staff that backed him up with the B.A.R.F. technology and also later the E.D.I.T.H. AI programm.

Cool video still!

Before the obvious villain reveal (no spoilers) I was super upset cause Jakey G... was kinda phoning it in. I was very disappointed with the acting he was putting out. But then he pulled the switch and was the villain Mysterio we know and love... and Jakey G dipped me low, kissing my forehead tenderly. He nailed it. He legit may be one of my favorite MCU characters ever. He was vicious and cold, but DAMN was he an entertainer and he HELD the room. That poor acting he did? Part of the show babey that’s just Jakey G’s range. An actor doing a really good job at pretending to be a not great actor. Seriously blew my mind.

Also, the only other costume mysterio wears, (no spoilers) is without a doubt the most unique and coolest MCU suit I’ve ever seen. I’m def cosplaying it the moment I can.

Far from home: 8.5/10

You can tell this is a Michael Giacchino superhero movie. It sounds a lot like The Incredibles.

And I'm not surprised he's doing all the big movies now. Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars. I've known he was one of the best composers working today all the way since LOST.

@Nightwing1015 - I still find myself listening to pieces from LOST soundtracks all the time.

I can't believe people aren't talking about how cheap this movie's costumes and CG are! There's a good twenty minutes of the movie where you can see Mysterio's unfinished mo-cap suit!

Boo this piece of shit!

I kept wondering why he kept telling them to give him the suit at the end when he never ended up wearing it

But then the mid credits hit
