Tom Holland's Peter Parker Strips Off To Switch Costumes In New SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Set Videos

Spider-Man: Homecoming has finally reached New York City, and as you can see in the videos below, Peter Parker is...in his underwear? That's right, this version of the hero doesn't wear the costume beneath his street clothes and is forced to head down an alleyway in order to make a quick change into his superhero duds after emerging from the subway (photos of that can be found over at Just Jared).

According to the person who took the videos of Tom Holland changing from his civvies into the Spider-Man costume, he sees a bad guy (an actor wearing a mo-cap costume apparently) attacking a convenience store and heads straight into action. Whether or not there's any truth to that is hard to say, but the wall-crawler is clearly in a rush to get somewhere. Let us know your theories below.

I like that they're filming a little bit in NYC too, adds some more authenticity to it.

@ALegendaryPanda - Just like the Netflix shows. Man with these characters being so close in proximity and in terms of superhero class, I really hope they at least do mention Defenders, even if it's just a small reference.

LIke in that "Leaked" script, someone lady that was just rescued by Spiderman said "Daredevil saved us!". That would be cool.

I think it would be extremely awkward personally to film that in an alley with a cell phone with the intent to put it online

I like that him putting on the costume is difficult. Not just rip off the shirt and its underneath (no offense to Kal-El). Reinforces how low level and authentic Spidey's world is. Nothing comes easy, not even a costume change haha.

@ComicsBornAndBred - I always wondered how superman was able to wear his boots with his civilian shoes.
