We've had our fair share of Spider-Man films on the big screen, but not one quite like this. With the unique animation and zany style Into the Spider-Verse possesses, this will definitely be a treat for hardcore Spidey fans.

Check out the featurette down below, which gives us a full run-down of the characters that we'll see in the movie.

Think of this as an animated Avengers-style film, but everyone on the team is a wallcrawler. That premise alone sounds exciting, right?

Early reactions for this movie have been very positive, so the hype is on the rise.

Are you planning to see Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse? Miles and his squad swings into theaters December 14th.

Big fan of Noir y Porker... hope this is as succesful as it's looking and they can bring more Spiders in the future. Maybe the inheritors are too dark for this but... I want them too.

@Kleytus - Noir was my favorite arc in the Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions Game.

@MrCamw1 - Amazing game and yeah, it felt different and style was perfect.
Probably my less favourite was 2099 and it still had a good tone.

@Kleytus - agreed. The music during the noir sequences alone were great

Hopefully her superhero name within the movie is not "Spider-Gwen”.

@MarvelDCAllDay - I'm digging more and more the Ghost Spider monicker. It fits the look and theme.

@MarvelDCAllDay - Ghost Spider sounds a lot better. I bet they go with Spider Gwen in the movie though

@MarvelDCAllDay - @ILoveStargirl - I hope so. It's a much better than Ghost Spider. Hey, could you please give me advice on how to do a animated DC Vs. Marvel film based on the JLA/Avengers comics? I'm having a really hard time, trying to figure out what to write.

I would have been perfectly fine with Spider-Pig not making an appearance in the movie. There are a lot of Spider-Man versions that would have been perfectly fine, even the rich gray suit Iron Spider would have been fine. Then again, they already did that with a previous version of the Spider-verse in the Spider-Man series from the 90s.

I still think people hold on to spiderman 2 as one of the cbm goats because of nostalgia and I personally always found the first one better than the sequel.

Anyway, excited for into the verse. These movies can't get here soon enough

@MyCoolYoung

Idk how you could be nostalgic for the second and not the first. They’re both great CBMs regardless.

@regularmovieguy - don't get me wrong, I don't think none of Raimi spiderman movies are bad. I think they're all pretty good.

Personally, I just don't put spiderman 2 on Mt Rushmore of comic book movies. I think later movies are superior

The genuinely surprising part of the movie is adding Peni Parker into the mix. Though I am a bit irked at how cutesy they made SP//dr.

I wonder what kind of hoops they'd have to jump through to bring in Japanese Spider-Man and Leopardon.

@Reeds2Much - never heard of the character so she's got my interest
