MORBIUS Star Jared Leto Talks SINISTER SIX Possibilities And Which Spider-Man He'd Like To Face (Exclusive)

Over the weekend, it was confirmed that Morbius takes place in the same world as Venom. Moving forward, we know Sony Pictures is developing everything from Kraven the Hunter to Madame Web and Spider-Woman, and many fans are anxious to learn when Spider-Man will swing into this world.

Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, it appears Tom Holland's web-slinger will remain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, he could still play a Variant, while the door has to be open to us seeing more of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's respective takes on Peter Parker.

With that in mind, we asked Morbius star Jared Leto which of the Spider-Men he'd like to battle as the Living Vampire. His answer was short and sweet as he stated, "Man, I’ll take them all on!"

We then put it to Leto that with Venom, Morbius, and The Vulture all part of the same world now (with Kraven the Hunter and Chameleon on the way), Sony could be building to a Sinister Six project. So, how does he see the Living Vampire fitting into that team of Spider-Man villains? "I think he would fit perfectly," the Oscar-winner says in the video above. "We’ll see what they have in store, but that’s the exciting thing about being part of this world. You never know what’s going to happen."

Sony had plans for a Sinister Six movie back when The Amazing Spider-Man franchise was still active, with Drew Goddard attached for a time. It didn't pan out, but it wouldn't be at all surprising for the studio to revisit the concept in the "Venomverse," especially with so many bad guys and no Spidey to stop them. Of course, Madame Web might just end up having something to say about that!

Check back here soon for more from Leto and to read our review of the Marvel Comics adaptation.

Morbius will be released in cinemas on March 31.
