Here are some excerpts from the report over at On Location Vacations, as well as the plans and photos of the set that is currently being constucted. It looks like they're putting together a lot of streets, so it's likely that they'll be used for a variety of scenes. Tonight we received an anonymous tip that there has been major reconstruction work going on since last month on the "New York Street" of one of L.A.’s biggest studios (presumably Sony Studios).
Our tipster also mentioned that the new facades were for the Untitled Spider-Man Reboot which just started shooting in Los Angeles last week.
Though we haven’t been able to confirm that the new set is definitely for the upcoming Spider-Man flick, the timing does make sense considering construction began in November and that most of the Spidey shoot is scheduled to take place in studio.
