SPIDER-MAN Star Zendaya Reveals How Tom Holland Playing Peter Parker Got Them Out Of A Speeding Ticket

Tom Holland and Zendaya have shared the screen in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, and somewhere along the line, the Peter Parker and MJ actors embarked on a real-life romantic relationship.

Zendaya recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her new movie, Challengers, and revealed how her boyfriend's superhero credentials got them out of trouble with the cops.

"Tom and I were rushing to a spin class with my mother," Zendaya told the host, clarifying that the spin class was for Holland, not her. "We were going a little fast, we were running late. They recognized that he was Spider-Man, and we were fine. We just got a warning!"

It's a fun anecdote and similar to when Tom Holland revealed he avoided a ticket from police in Central Park for walking his dog without a leash after they recognised him as the MCU's Loki!

Real-life romance has long been associated with the Spider-Man movies. There were rumours Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst had a brief romance, while Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone dated for a few years after starring in The Amazing Spider-Man

"I was quite young when the first ones came out, but I remember going to the movie theater and seeing all of them," Zendaya previously said of sharing the screen with three wall-crawlers in Spider-Man: No Way Home"I’ve always loved Spider-Man."

|So when I first heard that this was gonna happen... I mean, this was something that I think all of us on set in the previous movies would have been like, 'How cool would it be if this [happened]?' But we knew that that was never gonna happen. So when I get in a room with Jon and our producers, and they’re talking about what the movie is gonna be, and how we’re gonna have Tobey and his Spider-Man and Andrew and his Spider-Man there."

"I was like, 'How are you gonna do that?' They have to put the suit on [again] after all this time, and maybe they don’t want to. Maybe they’re over it. I couldn’t believe it was gonna happen," she continued. "For all of us, that moment of seeing all three Spider-Men together on set was so crazy. It’s things that you think about in your head but never believe that you’re gonna see in real life."
