Ultimate Spider-Man might not be a favorite show for adult Marvel fans, but no once can argue that is a hit among the younglings.

Ultimate Spider-man's upcoming third season changes the show title to Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors. Making the new title official,Vice president of Marvel animation, Stephen Wacker, also announced that the show's third season will offer a more coherent story athat will span the entire season and will lead to an event titled "Spider-Verse".
Much like its comic counterpart, the animated spider-verse will feature an assembly of alternate universe spider-men. The list includes: Spider-man noir, Mile Morales Spider-man (making his animation debut), Iron-Spider, Spider-man 2099 and Spider-Girl.

"[The new season is] going to really show how important Spider-Man — and by extension Peter Parker -- is to the entire universe we've built," Steve Wacker told USA Today, noting that early episodes of the season will lead up to "Spider-Verse." "There's a piece of the puzzle that's given there and really eagle-eyed Marvel Universe fans will be able to pick it out right away. All these appearances are leading up to a big story late in the season. The kid who's watching every single week is going to be rewarded with a story that really connects at the end."

Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors will debut, in the US, on Disney XD on August 31st. The show has already started airing in the UK couple of weeks ago.

Well. Cohesive story?
At least that sounds...better...right?
And...and new Spider-men?
Maybe they'll be less annoying and act more like Spiderman...maybe...?

No, screw it.

I still hate this turd for robbing me of a third season of Spectacular Spiderman.

I thought this was already done in the 90's series (best Spidey adaptation ever).

Yes, this has been done. And technically this Spider man will be in Spiderverse as well.

This show is complete shit. And its not even because I'm nostalgic for Spectacular, I watched Ultimate before I watched spectacular.

Ultimate relies on the lel so randumb xD jokes that are poisoning modern cartoons. And its not even Teen Titans Go! when they make references only comic book reader understand, thats it, just the "lel so randumb xD" humor. Nothing else. You'd think with that tone they would be able to get Deadpool right (Well, Deadpool when written by Way at least) But nope, they even managed to screw up Deadpool. Drake Bell is a pretty great Spider-Man, but due to the unclever writing and more, I wouldn't rank him as one of the best Spider-Man voice actors.

Honestly think this show is awesome, in reality it's more or less what an MCU Spidey would be. I appreciate it for what it is, and I can't wait for it!

When did they make Wacker VP of animation? There must be some mistake - he's not a complete idiot.

The best thing about this show are the supporting characters. That's pretty sad considering it's supposed to be a show about Spider-man.

@BlindJustice: Yeah, when Nova Jr and White Tiger steal the spotlight from frickin' Spider-Man, something is very wrong.

At best this show would only appeal to total newbs to Spidey. I can't imagine what Marvel was thinking when they thought this was their next step. I literary only watch this dreg 'cos it's Spiderman
