Based on everything we've seen so far, Spider-Man PS4 stands a chance of being 2018's best video game. It's certainly going to be a lot of fun for fans of the iconic Marvel superhero anyway and now a new piece of concept art shows Spidey going to war with Mr. Negative in a unique setting. It's also been confirmed that this battle will be playable in the game itself so this is probably a boss battle!

A few new story details were revealed at a Comic-Con panel for the game too as it's been confirmed that both Aunt May and Norman Osborn will play significant roles in the title, with the latter set to serve as New York City's mayor here (a very different sort of role for the villainous Green Goblin).

Spider-Man PS4 is set to be released at some point next year and more footage will probably be revealed over the next few months.
Mr. Negative is far from Spidey's most spectacular villain so hopefully, more bad guys will be unveiled soon as details find their way online about the game.

After watching Homecoming i found myself in strange Spidey hypy moody and started re-watching all the Spidey Tas, even going back to read some old spidey comics (it's a lil painful for me nowdays...) and shit...i'm actually kinda hyped for this game!
Hopefully this hype will last long enough to buy this game, thank God i have a PS4 and not X-BoX! :P

I just really dislike the weird costume they gave him for this. Why does he even have that. It's like they couldn't decide between classic and Black and mixed them weirdly.

@ScionStorm - I personally really like the new look. You can always change it and I'm sure they'll have more classic suit variations to choose from.

that scene screams QTE for sure.

This game looks amazing. I hope they tackle a few big villains like Green Goblin and Venom and Doc Ock. The game looks so well done and beautiful that I'm real excited to see their interpretation of them. Fighting Goblin mid air above the city would be so cool. Or vulture. Since we didn't get bugger all of that in the film...

@connorblaze - what makes the Arkham series great, the characters are straight out of the comics In some form or another.

And also instead of insulting the players intelligence, for the crane, generator, and helicopter scene. Add a slow-mo meter(in correlation with his senses), also add something similar to the infinite tether system in the Just Cause series, combine those 2 systems together and properly aim at the objects to attach them to the surface, that would make much more sense and add more Agency to the gameplay. GOW is getting rid of its QTEs, this game has no excuse other than "we wanted to save time".

And for Spideys combat, with his strength(and the way he holds it back) he should be able to knock somebody out in 3 hits max, and then be able to start a streak where's he bouncing through and mowing down every guy(except stronger enemies), but instead he has to manually jump over to an area before he can start pounding on somebody. It should be a magnetic effect.

@C38P01996 - and when you consider his agility he should be able to lunge in with a magnetic-like pull when going in for an attack.
