Could Spider-man 4 Be a Potential Team-Up?

The briliant Sam Raimi has been throwing around ideas for the next Spider-man movie. My personal favorite is the idea to have the vampire Morbius as the villian. This would bring a supernatural element to this particular Spider-man film.

Lets also consider this. What other superhero fights vampires? Blade of course. You have Blade coming to New York to hunt this new vampire and also Spider-man who is trying to figure out who's been draining peoples blood in New York.

You'd have Tobey Maguire as Spider-man/Peter Parker and Wesley Snipes as Blade (When he get's out of jail). I think this would be a very smart move by Marvel and I know Mr. Raimi would do it because he's a smart guy.

I guess all we can do is cross our fingers and hope.

Not 2 put u down Superman4, but thats an old idea, people have thought that up many times, because morbius links a blade crossover,and on that note kingpin links a daredevil crossover, both ideas have been out there for years now.

Hey I just had the idea when Sam Raimi siad he was thinking about have Morbius as the villian. I doubt this would ever happen. As far as if Snipes didn't return as Blade it would have to be the guy who played Blade in the tv series because people would recignize him.

i think that if you put in morbius it would make the film too dark and it would be like it is trying to follow batman too much. i mean it could do wonders for the movie to go dark but on the other hand since it kinda tried in the last one and totally failed at it, it might be a bad idea. anyways we will just have to wait and see how it goes.

Spiderman is not a dark hero, he is cocky, funny, and exciting. His depth of a character is the feeling of being cursed with his powers. His Spiderman identity conflicts with his Peter Parker identity effecting his love life, school life, professional life ect. Spiderman is almost a super hero story of Jekyll & Hyde. What Spidey villain is very similar? THE LIZARD! Curt Connors has already been in all three movies, his transformation to the Lizard can parallel Spidey's curse as Spiderman. It is very logical and can be a refresher from Spiderman 3 which had depth to it. This also opens the opportunity to introduce Kraven into the storyline.

nooo the blade movies were quite edgy! and blade 3's ending was some-what predictable but still awesome with drake saying that blade would turn on man kind and lead the vampiric new race! soo i wouldn't want to see blade toned down mainly! nothing against team ups it's awesome but.... just not blade

I agree with Soldier, can't go dark. Raimi tried it with "3" and failed. He needs to get back to what made America fall in love with Spidey in the first place. The next time they should go "dark" with the series should be the last film they do and bring in Carnage or the Sinister Six and send Spidey out with a bang.

I kind of do agree with the crossover idea but disagree at the same time. With to many heroes it could be a spiderman 3 all over again. The only time mutiple comic stars worked so well in a movie was in the Dark Knight. Sinister Six would work out but Doc Oc got killed off. Rhino would be a good starting scene villian but an overall movie villian should be the Lizard, we've waited since 2004 with Kurt Conners as Peter's professer.I thought for sure he would be in spidey 3 but, it's yet to happen. I just pray that the next spidey movie doesn't suck.

I think all this stuff about Morbius is to throw us off the trail of finding out who the villian really is.

*cough* Lizard *cough*

Remember too this story is going to be told in two films, so perhaps we'll see some of the Sinister Six?

I have to be honest and say that adding vampires to Spiderman movies when you have so much other great material to work with is box office poison that I can say I won't drink. If Morbius is anywhere near this film like the silly rumors suggest, I will not go see it just like I didn't go see the Punisher WZ because of the replacement of Thomas Jane. I am hoping Raimi will be smart and use a Lizard based story. This would allow for several ather character appearance's like Kraven and Black Cat.

I think all of the Spider-man movies sucked (the 3rd one especially). maybe not from a movie standpoint, they were all great popcorn flicks. But from an understanding of the character, they sucked about as much as X3. Spidey has a witty humor that is showcased in midbattle banter etc. The movies tried and failed portray this with stupid, campy Tobey McGuire oneliners that made me want to punch babies.

I know this word might sound like poison to a lot of you but i have to say it

I hate SPIDERMAN and X-MEN SERIES.
They [frick]ing Ruined my childhood...these stupid FOX bastatds... What are they going to do next team up with Ted Turner and mak a "captain Planet" movie?

No, their going to make "Silver Hawks"...
or "Galaxy Rangers".....[sarcasm]...F*ck Fox.

Why cant they just Reboot this, and have James Franco come back as "SPIDERMAN"....he should of been spiderman in the FIRST PLACE. Have him make his OWN webs...I think that'd be awesome to see....have "The Shocker and Sandman" as the villians. They need to be creative with this....they need to read the comics...and then create their own ideas using the ideas they have read....you can always alternate and change things...but dont RUIN it for the fans.

Look at WBs and how much freedom they give to the directors...they dont RUSH them....everyone wants to make a buck...but FOX likes to make a quick one. They even tried to ruin Watchmen for us. F*ck Fox!

ahh wot airwolf i loved them i still watch um ........ y reboot it?? its obviously dun extreamly well shocker wud b gud id like 2 c rhino but i cant think of any 1 to play him . i disagree with alot of u the spidy film were good castin was good storys were good an the fight sense were pretty cool the only thing i didnt lik e was hob goblin teaming up with spiderman ( yes i said hob goblin not the new goblin god knows y he was scripted as that he was the hob goblin)...

I love how everyone is complaining about Fox, when Sony/Columbia owns Spider-Man.

Anyways I would love to see Morbius in the next movie. If he isnt in 4, then dont put him in any at all. I think 5 should have Lizard or Carnage.

Don't be dumb. That's an awful idea.

Plus, Morbius is gay. So is Blade. Morbius would be just as much a failure as Venom.

That's a great idea, because Blade is a very well known character. It can also revive Wesley Snipes career. It can also help make up for that awful Spiderman 3 movie..
