Fanboys may remember that Dunst has a history of spilling Spidey spoilers. It was she who confirmed rumors that Sandman and Venom were the villains of Spider-Man 3.
Some have wished that the movie storyline would dump Mary Jane Watson in favor of Gwen Stacy--introduced in the last film. Gwen Stacy was played by Bryce Dallas Howard. No word yet if she will also be returning to play her character in Spidey 4 and 5.
The studio is targeting a May 2011 release for the fourth pic.
