Ever since the cancellation of the cartoon back in late 2009, fans were mostly displeased with Disney's approach to the wall crawler, as arguably the currently running Ultimate Spider-Man is aimed at a younger audience, and at times ignores the original source material from the comics.

Fans have been pleading Sony for years to make season 2 of The Spectacular Spider-Man available as a complete season DVD set, and instead Sony have combined the two seasons as a complete series set on Blu-ray!

It's set to be released on the 22nd of April in the US, and its now available to pre-order on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IGVJH0E/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00IGVJH0E&linkCode=as2&tag=dnf03-20

U.K fans can also finally gain access to the season one DVD that was released in the states a few years back, http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Spectacular-Spider-Man-Complete-Season/dp/B00HQAKVMO/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1393275844&sr=8-11&keywords=spectacular+spidermanbut
No word on a complete Blu-ray set in the U.K however.

It always truly helps to actually take some time in and look to see if the article is already posted.

Yes this was really good. Although how was it influenced by the Raimi trilogy?

Ultimate Spider-man needs to die. We need atleast a decent Spidey show. Spectacular Spider-man was the best Spidey show ever. Shame it got cancelled, so much potential was wasted that day.

Best spiderman show ever. I would still accept a season 3, you know? Who cares if it has been a long time since the second. If i had lots and lots of money i would buy SONY or whatever it takes to give this to the fans.

How the [frick] is it at all "heavily influenced" by the Raimi trilogy? There are literally zero points in this entire series where that even makes sense. Jesus, think before you type.
