New Filming Details For SUICIDE SQUAD Revealed
Hit the jump to find out when and where the cinematic follow-up to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on Warner Bros.' DC movie schedule, Suicide Squad, will be filming as well as its production title.
While a few A-listers are finalizing negotiations to star in Suicide Squad, new details have emerged regarding when and where the DC Comics adaptation will be filming. According to Global News and other reliable sources, Warner Bros. and director David Ayer will commence principal photography in mid-April next year, and expect to wrap by the end of August. As far as where, the production will be based at Pinewood Toronto Studios in Toronto, Canada, and there will also be filming taking place at various locations in and around the city. Like all major comic book movies, Suicide Squad will try to throw us off its scent by using a fake production title whilst filming, but that is already revealed to be Bravo 14. Anyhow, Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Jessie Eisenberg are all reportedly in talks for roles in Suicide Squad. And based on the DC Comics team of supervillains who take on missions for the government in exchange for shortened prison sentences, the film is scheduled for release on August 5, 2016.
