On the heels of the news that Wonder Woman 1984 will have a presence at CCXP Worlds, The Suicide Squad director James Gunn has confirmed that he will also be on hand with some of the cast.

"Oi, my beloved Brazil & my friends all over the world," the filmmaker Tweeted. "Join me & some of #TheSuicideSquad at #CCXPWorlds December 6 at 5 pm for some ridiculous fun."

We're not sure which members of Task Force X will appear on the panel, but there's certainly enough of them to choose from! Gunn also shared a new promo poster for the event, but it reuses those character logos from earlier this year.

This new incarnation of Task Force X will feature (deep breath): Colonel Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman); Savant (Michael Rooker); Javelin (Flula Borg); Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie); Polka Dot Man (David Dastmalchian); Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchoir); Bloodsport (Idris Elba); King Shark (?); Mongal (Mayling Ng); The Thinker (Peter Capaldi); Blackguard (Pete Davidson); TDK (Nathan Fillion); Weasel (Sean Gunn); Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney); and The Peacemaker (John Cena).

Probably best not to get too attached to any of 'em!

While specific plot details for The Suicide Squad remain under wraps, various rumours have been doing the rounds online since before production even began. Nothing has been confirmed, but a recent BTS featurette did strongly hint that Starro might be one of the big bads.

The Suicide Squad is currently set for release next August.

Didn't we also get the first trailer for WW84 at Comic-Con Brazil? Guess DC using CCB again for a trailer would be nice

When u have someone like James Gunn coming over from Marvel, he should be able to use all his knowledge that he gained from working with Feige and company. Hopefully that makes SS2 an enjoyable film. I’m sure that’s why they brought him aboard.
