SYNOPSIS: In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone's imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question - Why am I here? They're not using a CGI cape. They take the cape off to rehearse the scene, and then they put it on for filming.

Whoever thinks that his suit is not somewhat padded with fake muscles is going on fanboy talk. Theres no way someones muscles could be that defined on a skin-tight suit.
I know he gained some mass to prep for the role, but cmon now....

But guys comeon!!!! The suit is padded! Cavill looks good, but there's no way or any amount of muscle to show that much definition through that material. Just saying.

On a slightly unrelated note, I just finished reading Justice League #1...absolutely excellent. Not perfect I admit, but THAT is how Superman should be written, unlike the practically middle aged whiner from the recent "Grounded" arc. As I've said before, Marvel don't need to do it, but DC made the right choice with this relaunch.

Adding some definition to the suit is fine. They also added quite a bit of bulk to the suit and that is what makes it look fake. From a distance in these images you can't tell, but the closeup images make it very clear. It is quite simple to look at images of Cavill without the suit on and with the suit on to see that Cavill is not that big.
