Clark is to die in Smallville season finale

We're talking smallville, for that matter, this is SUPERMAN, you mean dead for good?

I don't think clarks gonna die. i don't think doomsday is strong enough at this point. sombody on a diffrent thread suggested that he is thrown into the phantom zone were he is forced to become doomsday to survive. i think thats a great idea and it was kinda hinted at in the last episode.

They are going to line SV up with the Doomsday animated movie, in "Beast" Oliver Queen dropped that Queen/Luthor Corp. was working on a big hole in the ground to harness geothermal energy, Doomsday just happened to have been found in hole that Lex was digging for the very same reason in the animated movie.

I think it will be Clark that is lost to the Phantom Zone, as a throwback to Superman's "death" on the JLU cartoon. The one where he is teleported to the future, but everyone thinks he was killed.

Seems like the interview was filmed quite a while ago. Sam has horrible interview manners.

It may seem as if he's died, But Clark cannot die on Earth. Doomsday will kill him, but there will be a reserection!

They need to quit teasing us with smallville. It's like soft porn, its gets you excited, and thats it!

If Clark does die its just a matter of time before the rays of the sun charges him back up. So lets have the fight Clark and Doomsday go to sleep for awhile until the next season.

Thats the thing; they didnt meet when they were younger. So, they are the same battle strenght and Doomsday died like how many times in season 8.

He died a couple of times. Faora stabbed him with a pole so now he's invulnerable. He committed suicide using kryptonite so now he's immune to Krytonite.

Anyways, this is a really old interview. Doesn't necessarily mean Clark is going to die. There's going to be TWO deaths.. plus a "metaphorical" death (which I assume is Davis dying and Doomsday taking over. It could also mean Clark dies and the world's savior is born).

I'm hoping that Clark just dumps Doomsy's ass in the Phantom Zone. If Chloe wants to go too with him too than throw her in too.

Watch "Superman: Doomsday", then watch the scene from "Beast" in the Ace of Clubs where Oliver is talking to the investors/execs/whatever, Doomsday is getting buried 10 miles down.

I do kind of have a feeling that they may use black Kryptonite to separate Doomsday and Davis, but I am less confident in that theory.

The only two people appearing in the Season finale (if you want to know read on, if not then this will spoil it for you) will be Bart, Dinah, and Rokk (from the Legion). I assume Impulse and Black Canary will assist Green Arrow in trying to kill Doomsday once in for all but they'll fail miserably leaving Clark making the tough choice whether to throw down or not. In either case it's going to be a HUGE fight and they've teased that the episode is called Doomsday for a reason.

There will also be a villain who appears at the end of the episode or something who might play a large part in Season 9. There was a photo of Sam Witwer sporting a Zod goatee which caused a bunch of rumors that Zod releases himself from the Phantom Zone and inhabits Davis' body.. becoming a recurring villain over Season 9. I for one don't buy it.

Here is how I imagine everything goes down. I'm hoping that in the process of Doomsday's rampage, Chloe gets murdered (she deserves it), and Clark decides then and there to take out Doomsy. They have a giant fight ending in both of them landing some pretty serious blows. Doomsday is dumped in that giant hole Ollie mentioned in "Beast," and a broken Clark is taken to the FoS. The Season Premiere begins with Metropolis without the Red-blue blur. Bruno and his mob take over Metropolis using the Injustice League (Parasite Livewire Plastique (Neutron?)). Green Arrow and fellow Justice Leaguers try to handle the situation as best as they can awaiting Clark's resurrection. Clark finally comes back just as Doomsday claws his way out of the hole, stronger than ever. Clark finally grows the balls to send Doomsy to the Phantom Zone and realizes how important he is to Metropolis.

Though doesn't DOOMSDAY have to die alot to get harder an harder!?! Anyhow i hope Sam Witwer gets the DOOMSDAY part in the next SUPERMAN movie he's a talented guy! (Okay im dreaming, but come on who wouldn't wanna see DOOMIE do Box Office).
