TheStar.com has a new interview with "V" actress Laura Vandervoort about her return to "Smallville", where she played the character Kara, a.k.a. Supergirl, and confirms she will be present in the series finale. Here is the quote of that interview from The Star's website confirming Supergirl's return:
"The fans will be happy," she hints. "I didn't really want to have the show end without Kara kind of wrapping up her future. I didn't want her to be off flying around and no one ever see her again.
"I return in a particular way or I'm found ... uh, yeah. I can't really say anything. I just can't say. I'll get in so much trouble."
Whatever she means by "found", we'll have to wait until May to find out. There is much more in Vandervoort's interview in the link, including her role on "V" and what it was like working on "Smallville" with Helen Slater, who played Supergirl in the 1984 movie.
With Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor), Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan), Annette O'Toole (Martha Kent, though her return isn't 100% officially confirmed yet), John Schneider (Jonathan Kent) and now Laura Vandervoort returning for the series finale, the final two-part "Smallville" is shaping up quite nicely, don't you think?
What do you guys think of Kara returning one final time to "Smallville"?
