In the "Fortune" episode Lois & Clark's wedding is approaching, the Smallville tribe with Chloe, all go to Metropolis' version of Las Vegas, that turns into a wild bachelor/bachelorette party weekend that becomes one big, BLUR! The episode airs on February 25th and a DC supervillain called Amos Fortune appears too.

Here's though what exec producer Kelly Souders said about the important finale:

I'm also hearing the finale may be a two-hour send-off — with one last visit from Supergirl!

talked to a longtime fan of the show today...a real nerd for it...he says he doent think we will see Welling in the suit, that it was not the premise of the show. it has always been about Clark in Smallville BEFORE he becomes Supes.

i dont watch it that much, but i agree. i think finally seeing the suit would be a cheap ending. the suit should be the next chapter where the movies pick up...imo

You have to have the send off of the character Superman as the ending though. It would be a slap in the face to the fans, and to the late creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, especially since they are in the opening credits of the this show. Also, Christopher Reeve would have approved of it as well, otherwise, he would have never had appeared in the show.

I would like to see him change into Superman, much like Christopher Reeve did at the beginning of Superman II.
