Man of Steel tells the tale of Clark Kent/Kal-El, a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – "Why am I here?" Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as "Superman," not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves. Under the direction of Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, and Russell Crowe, the movie is set to be released on June 14, 2013.

This looks awesome, much more epic than I thought it would be. I like that this Zod looks so different from the Terrance Stamp one.

This movie will give IM a good run.

Lucky Australia gets it last. Now I get to hear how good it is from the rest of the world 2 weeks before I can see it. This is the punishment we get for getting marvel movies early. I cannot wait. Man of Steel will be amazing.

Shit just got real. This is my most anticipated CBM of 2013!

1. Man Of Steel
2. Iron Man 3
3. Thor: The Dark World
4. The Wolverine

I really have high hopes for MOS!!! I've been waiting a very long time for a Superman movie just like this!

@KamenRiderJ22 LOL! That gif with what you said was perfect. I'm right there with you though, man!

@Ethic That's awesome! You guys in Ireland and the UK get it the same day as we do in the US. :)

Yay! The release dates are actually fair and reasonable.

I have strong feels this will come out on top as not only the CBM of 2013 but the CBM of the decade. It won't do Avengers numbers (then again, no one had any idea that Avengers WOULD do those type of numbers) but I have faith that it'll be a big hit. I think Superman is still a lot more relevant than we give him credit for, I mean I see the term "S on my chest" and people referring to themselves as "super" all the time while I don't think I've ever seen someone refer to the Bat symbol or IM in any capacity when trying to be heroic or even just strong. Even if the character isn't as popular, the "S" and what he stands for still remains very relevant so I chose to remain optimistic. We'll see what ultimately happens soon enough though.

YAYYYY LIST!

Man of Steel
Ironman 3
Pacific Rim
Thor 2
