Teen Titans Go! is an American animated television series based on the DC Comics fictional superhero team, the Teen Titans. The series was announced following the popularity of DC Nation's New Teen Titans shorts, both of which are based on the 2003 Teen Titans TV series. Teen Titans Go! is a more comedic take on the DC Comics franchise, dealing with situations that happen outside of saving the world.

@mOth3r, I would shit your pants if Netflix picked up young justice. It was such an amazing show, and Wally just got sucked into the speed force damnit. Why, why why cancel the best cartoon on TV since the Bruce Timm animation era. I agree that this teen titans is full retard. Why not just bring back the old teen titans show I could actually enjoy that, not this mindless brightly colored poorly animated excuse for a show. The American youth must be getting less and less smart. When I was young they made Teen Titans with hints of maturity, complex character relationships and season long storylines. Now they remake the same show but with less than half of its brains for the new age of young people who don't have the attention span for anything because of their smartphones etc. This show seems like it has ADD just like most of its intended audience. Pathetic pile of garbage.

@HurricaneXavier

You really don't see a difference between a PG-13 movie and a cartoon? Just watch the commercials of a show to see the targeted demographic. There's a reason NFL games have beer commercials, soap operas have tampon commercials, The Price is Right has life insurance commercials, and cartoons have toy commercials. Here's a hint - the cartoon with the ads for Lucky Charms and Legos aren't directed towards adults.

In a few years you'll discover the joys of women, alcohol, and recreational drug use. For that, I envy you.

Haters have a reason to hate the show. It's because they dont like it. It's not like they secretly like it and just invent ways to hate it to piss you off.

@DudeGuyManBro

I know. I never said that. What I was saying is that people let their own preconceived expectations of how these characters "should" be portrayed keep them from enjoying anything that tries to offer a new or fresh take on the characters. Just look at how the general audience reacted to a film like The Dark Knight or Rises and compare that to how fans reacted. Because the fans had already labeled a previous version of the characters, either from the comics or the TV shows, in their heads as definitive, they weren't able to enjoy those films as much as most other people.

This show is hilarious! Stop hating on it people! Direct all that hatred at Marvel's current batch of cartoons (if you can even call it that). Say what you want, but this show is much better than Marvel's cartoon offerings.

That third season of ThunderCats was bullshit though, right b&y? It had nothing on the hard hitting social commentary of He-Man's fifth season.

LOL! My comment just reminded me...one of my earliest memories was a kid in first grade getting beat up for liking the Ghostbusters cartoon with the Gorilla and talking car, over the "Real" Ghostbusters. If I recall, my reaction was along the lines of "there's two Ghostbusters?"

This show has always been funny. You gotta watch the show for what it is to enjoy it though. I know some CBM fans *cough*DC only*cough* are notorious humor haters; everything has to be all serious and high stakes to be entertaining to you ppl. It's as if any of you ever laughed, your whole face would crack like an egg shell or something. I can imagine some of you watching this with a lack of amusement, in complete disgust while thinking to yourself comic books are serious business".

Ah, to be a kid again...

I actually do enjoy this show for what it is and it even draws a cackle from me. That said, it pisses me off that this show is still going while Young Justice isn't. It's not about tone preference or "hating humor." YJ was a legitimately badass show with cool writing, second-to-none character development, great pacing, awesome action, and hell, it had hilarious, well-placed humor. It wasn't just a good DC show or even a good cartoon -- it was a legitimately great TV show, no qualifiers needed. TTG is a fun show, but it is not even close to YJ quality-wise and it isn't that good of a comedy show either, and so it's easy to resent it.

But yes, I am still butthurt over YJ's cancellation, and I'm proud.
