Karai Debuts In The Next Ep Of TMNT; Check Out A Clip

Karai (voiced by Kelly Hu) will be the latest classic character to get somewhat of a makeover in Nickelodeon's new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toon. Check out a clip from "New Girl In Town" which sees her go one-on-one with Leonardo..

Earlier on we found out that Roseanne Barr will provide the voice for Kraang Prime, and got our first look at Karai. Now thanks to IGN we have this clip of her in action..

Karai has been a big part of TMNT lore as far back as the original comic series, and there have been quite a few incarnations of the character. But she almost always has some kind of ties to Shredder and The Foot Clan, and although it would appear there is some mutual respect between her and Leo in the above clip, I wouldn't expect that to last. This take is described as "an expert martial artist who never met a weapon she didn’t like," and someone the Turtles discover "might be the one thing more dangerous than the Kraang and Shredder combined."

Tune in on Saturday to see how it plays out.
