When Michael Bay said, "These turtles are from an alien race" the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' fans erupted in anger like I haven't seen since additional Watchmen comic books were announced. Over the past few days co-creator Peter Laird, voice actors, and live-action actors have all given their opinions on the matter, and today we have comic book artist Jim Lawson. He has taken to his Facebook page and has posted some new sketches poking fun at Michael Bay's comments.

"Hey Michael Bay - Them's bombs!" - Jim Lawson

Jim Lawson: "After a generations old war between their species draws to a close, the Shredulonians and the Turtles bring their latest battle to Earth..."

"Earth has got the hottest chicks."

"Just give me a walk-on role as an innocent bystander that the building falls on in the climatic final battle scene (with explosions)!"

Jim Lawson is an American comic book artist best known for his work on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. For more than 20 years he was the author and artist of TMNT comics, but in 2009 he announced that he's departing from TMNT. - Wikipedia

What is this? Every person associated with TMNT now gives their thoughts on a film they don't even work on? Looking forward to hearing from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze extra #4 then.

The last four Alien turtles of their species have fled to Earth because their home planet was destroyed by Kang the Konquerer. Arriving to Earth, they know full well they are no match for Kang's forces which are soon to come destroy the Earth on their trail... unless... unless they learn KUNG FU!!! So quickly they research Earth's "historical records" (Movies) and head straight for Keanu Reeves' crib. Unfortunately, all they found was his pet rat. But their logic dictates that the rat has absorbed Keanu's Kung Fu through photographic memory. They then proceed to circle the rat's cage and squirt their male turtle ooze all over the rat, mutating him into their new found master. Together they fled into the sewers to build their HQ under the concrete rug of the humans. But little did they know, Keanu would come back and find his rat's empty cage covered in radioactive alien turtle ooze. He took no chances and started to lick every drop of it to then mutate into... THE SUPER SHREDDER!!!!!

Why can't you all get on the T.A.I.N.T bandwagon? This idea could work if and only if the ooze is what is coming from outerspace.

I'm not a big fan of Lawson's art, but he was a big part of TMNT and I admire him coming out against Bay's concept. We already heard a sarcastic reply from Laird; I still want to here what Kevin Eastman thinks of all of this.

Eh, if studios want to dish out money to make it- fine. If it looks good- I'll see it. But Director Liebesmen makes the most boring high budget films. Yawn.

Turtles were considered holy in the Chow Dynasty of ancient China.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were a form of deity in their religion.

Giant Alien Freak Turtles who were proficient in martial arts and intergalactic space travel were worshiped as gods!

So please...BACK OFF MR.BAY!
(he has one of those crystal thingies!)

man thats great, ok so, so far, the fans, ,Robbie Rist(the voice of Michelangelo),Peter Laird, and Jim Lawson all think the idea is frickin stupid, now if only we can get Kevin Eastman, the voice of Leonardo, Elias Koteas, Judith Hoag, the voice of Raphael and Corey Feldman(the voice of Donatello) to voice their opinion
