Although October we will see the release of other CBM's like Captain America:The First Avenger & The Green Lantern, it seems like another CBM will hit the shelves as well. The 1994 cult classic The Crow has now been given the blu-ray treatment. Lionsgate will present the 2-disc blu-ray in 1080p with an aspect ratio: 1.85:1 along with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1.

The special features for The Crow will include: Audio commentary with producer Jeff Most and screenwriter John Shirley, Behind-the-Scenes Featurette, Extended/Deleted Scenes, Storyboards, Photo Galleries. The starting price for the blu-ray is $19.99, but if you head on over to amazon.com you can pre-order the blu-ray for the price of $14.99. Look for The Crow on October 18th.




The Crow is a 1994 American action film based on the 1989 comic book by James O'Barr. The film was written by David J. Schow and John Shirley, and directed by Alex Proyas. The Crow Eric Draven (Brandon Lee), a rock musician who is revived from the dead to avenge his own murder, as well as that of his fiancée.

is this any different to the version thats been availble for the last couple of years in the uk,it doesn't come with a digital version but that sounds like the only difference.

Of what I read they went back and retouched it and cleared it up from previous releases. Apparently the version that you mentioned was not an official release from the movie studio. Despite that it seems that both releases have only one thing that's different,the digital copy.

Brandon Lee could of been a huge star after this...just like Heath Ledger...damn shame
