Audiences and critics continue to enjoy Marvel's Agent Carter and the CW's The Flash but that hasn't stopped te to shows from seeing a slip in ratings.

Marvel's Agent Carter on ABC was down two tenths (1.3, 4.6 million viewers) at 9 p.m. from its last original episode, which scored a 1.5 in the 18-49 demographic.

Meanwhile, The Flash aired on a rerun-packed night at 8 p.m., but the numbers showed a series low, with a 1.3 rating, pulling 4 million viewers. Of course as a show airing on the CW these are still solid numbers.

In other, more intriguing news, Jon Hamm may or may not have just signed up for a pornographic film:

The Flash is getting actually pretty good!!! But i think honestly the general viewers are getting a bit annoyed with "Which Metahuman Pawn will Flash fight next" as there is no really story progression at all

The ratings drop for Agent Carter definitely had something to do with the break and the time slot delay, which isn't uncommon (the same thing happened when Constantine went on break and changed time slots). Breaks and time slot changes aren't a profitable combination.

Uuuggh 4 million isn't bad

I think of a bunch of shows that would wish to have 4 million views on a Tuesday

Apparently if you factor in people who DVR the episodes for Agent Carter, it brings the number up considerably...but yeah, still disappointing. Crap guys, just when we get a really kick-ass comic book show right from the start, the audience just isn't quite there yet.

I blame it on the early Agents of SHIELD effect -___-

@DaVinci31

Wet Hot American Summer is hilarious! You should check it out sometime before the eight-episodes this summer.

Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig are joining the already loaded returning cast they announced yesterday.

@SauronsBANE

Wasn't Agent Carter originally intended to be a eight episode mini-series?

And in addition to the early AoS effect, some folks could've chosen to wait and binge watch the eight episodes depending on feedback/reviews. I'd assume if its picked up for a second season, more folks will catch up and watch it. In comparison, season one of AoS had 22 episodes and it'd be a lot easier to catch up on AC.

I think the last Flash episode was great. Especially because I thought the episode would suck judging by the preview.
