Another batch of snaps from the Vancouver set of the CW's Flash series features Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) working his day job, alongside his surrogate father Detective West (Jesse L. Martin) and Central City Police Captain David Singh (Patrick Sagongui).

The Flash pilot is currently in production for a potential slot on The CW's 2014-2015 lineup, and also stars Jesse L. Martin as Detective West, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Candice Patton as Iris West, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon and Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells. Guest actors in the pilot who would have recurring roles if the show moves forward include Patrick Sabongui as David Singh, Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen and John Wesley Shipp.

I thought Barry Allen was blonde... Gustin looks better suited to play Kid Flash than the Scarlet Speedster himself.

I'm hoping Gustin evolves into some muscle... I'm all for Barry Allen starting out young but I'm just not seeing it. Marvel at least dyed Evans' hair blonde outta respect and likeness to Steve Rogers.

Wow there are some idiots commenting in this thread. Gustin is great so far as Allen. I've said this before, he actually made me interested in the Flash, and I never cared much about the character before this. The suit looks good, and no, Gustin doesn't have to be blonde to play Flash. The idea that the actor has to be a mirror copy of the way the character looks in the comic is just stupid, especially for a character who wears a helmet so that you don't see the hair anyway.

They screwed up the color of his costume.
Gustin looks decent in costume..Good design,Bad color sceme.
Hope the acting writing is solid.

the costume is not ideal but i can't imagine how hard it would be to design one for a show like this and then having to deal with higher ups approving it, etc. I think it looks just fine and I am excited for this show.
