Future 'Cisco' Builds A "Fully-Functional Batman Suit"

After the return of Eobard Thwane/The Reverse Flash, Cisco Ramon took to writing all about it in his blog "The Chronicles of Cisco". In the latest post from the Star Labs genius, Cisco reveals that he took another glimpse into the future with his VIBE goggles and saw some incredible things, including the construction of a Batsuit. Check out the blog posting below and let us know what you think about Cisco's vision of the future!

My head is still throbbing from Eobard Thawne’s unexpected (read: totally unwelcomed) visit and my subsequent tango with death. I’m pretty sure the violent tremors in my brain would have registered a solid eleven on the Richter scale! True, I’ll never know the pain of childbirth, but I am pretty sure the excruciating migraine and full-body convulsions of a timeline rupture qualify as a top contender for most crippling pain known to human (and meta) kind. Not to be dramatic, but I saw the light; it kinda looked like the luminescent undercarriage of the USS Enterprise – and I remember praying, “just beam me up, Scotty,” when all of a sudden everything stopped – the visions of other timelines, the flashes of the future, the seizures… I was left with a searing headache and a heart full of gratitude. Barry, aka The Best Best Friend Ever, sacrificed revenge on his mother’s murderer just to save me - if that isn’t brotherhood, I don’t know what is!

Caitlin was kind enough to whip up a custom drug cocktail for my bruised brain, which allowed me enough relief to veg out in front of a Firefly marathon for an afternoon. Sure, I’ve seen the entire series at least half a dozen times, but this time, something really resonated with me. Step aside, River Tam, there’s a new psychic in town! Now that my body wasn’t being ripped apart by time, I had a moment to reflect on my newfound ability to freakin’ see the future! I know, I know – with great power comes great responsibility and all that jazz, but I had to take it for a test drive!

I waited until everyone peaced out for the day, then I slipped into S.T.A.R. Labs to “borrow” my vibing goggles. Two shots of liquid courage later (relax, it was orange soda), I threw them on and found myself watching an onslaught of peeks into 2017, 2018, and beyond. Snapshots of Fourth of July BBQ’s, Halloween (that fully-functional Batman suit was badass!), and late nights in my workshop flashed before my eyes. I was starting to feel a bit queasy (these things should really come with a motion sickness warning) when everything slowed down and I found myself standing in a church. To my left was Barry – looking hella sharp in a Hugo Boss tuxedo. Future-Me had a slick goatee and was sporting some serious bling – like a pair of solid gold Louis Vuitton cufflinks. Shiny. Joe was also there, holding a bible… that’s when I realized, this was a wedding! Not just any wedding, this was my wedding! I looked closer – Future-Me was sweating something fierce. Then the music started. I heard the rustle of a satin dress and was itching to know who my lucky lady was – but I saw the look of complete and utter love on Future-Me’s face and ripped those goggles off before I could see who she was. Some things are better left as surprises! But it is good to know that years down the road I’ll have true love, rock-solid friendships, and pimpin’ style.

This writing is ham-fisted and pandering.

Why can't I have this poor saps marketing job?

People seem to forget that BRUCE WAYNE is in the Flarrow verse.

but twice...

@imkennypowers people are still surprised that Batman gets referenced? He's confirmed to be in the damn universe! Maybe not as Batman, but he's there.

@Scorpo -
Exactly! I mean I completely understand why folks don't want Batman, Superman and/or their favorite DC characters part of the DCtvU, specifically via/because of Arrow. However, when you consider the fact it's currently separate from the DCEU, you kind of have to expect hints/teases if not appearances at some point, ya know??? And their Batman/Bruce Wayne can't be worse than Gotham, right??
Personally, I hoped/wanted the person who rescued/saved Oliver, after his fight with Ra's, was a former member of the League who they called "xuffaaš" or "wuTwaaT", which is Arabic for "bat" like Ra's al Ghoul is Arabic for "the demon's head."
And this former member of the League was played by David Boreanaz. Maybe if his cameo was well received, we could have a DCtvU Batman series/spin-off and Boreanaz reunites with Joss Whedon who serves as the series' showrunner. (since Whedon is a fan of Batman & he knows a thing or two about writing, showrunning & directing TV shows.)

If we're being fair, Arrow has more good-great casting/characters than bad-decent. Personally, I believe Sara/Canary was great, Felicity was good for two seasons, Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer/ATOM is great (even though IMMEDIATELY after seeing Routh on Arrow I wanted him to be DCtvU's Superman instead of Ray/ATOM SO F*CKING BAD! hahaha) Diggle is good-great (when written well, which is the issue with Arrow in general & its characters, especially Laurel seasons 1&2 and Felicity seasons 3&4, so far.)

Scorpo - 2/3/2016, 8:12 PM
@imkennypowers As soon as I saw Routh as Atom I thought "He would make a great Superman" then I was like "oh shit he played Superman holy fuucccck"

Also, a Batman series would work really well, he doesn't need a high budget unless you do all of his vehicles (you only need Batmobile) and you could end up with the bat family all together!

@Scorpo - SO then Bruce is just chilling back on his couch while the world is threatened every week?
Scorpo
Scorpo - 2/4/2016, 3:40 PM
@Toonstrack He doesn't live in Star City, or Central City.

Bruce/Batman lives in Gotham.

the [frick] are you on?
Toonstrack
Toonstrack - 2/5/2016, 7:16 AM
@Scorpo - Because Batman protects Gothan and ONLY Gotham, and has TOTALLY never went to other cities when THE ENTIRE WORLD was threatened. Oh wait, isn't he doing to another city in BvS? Hmmmmm....

Who's on what again?
Scorpo
Scorpo - 2/5/2016, 1:53 PM
@ToonStrack how would he know about Arrows world? Flash I understand, because it is out in the open, but Arrow is more in the shadows so Batman wouldn't care because he just fights archers. In BvS Batman will be going to Metropolis (or not we don't know yet) to fight Superman. His reason is because of a damn alien. Also the only time anything really big happened in the flash was the singularity. Doubt Batman would have been able to help with that.
What are you on?
Abary
Abary - 2/3/2016, 4:58 PM
In the context of the blog post, it's clear that Batman already exists, and if this is true, it's extremely odd that we haven't heard a mention of him. That being said, apparently Superman/girl exists in this world and they weren't mentioned, so who knows!
Scorpo
Scorpo - 2/3/2016, 5:26 PM
@Abary - Superman and Supergirl don't exist in the Flarrow verse. Multiverse.
However, Bruce Wayne is confirmed to be in this universe
FlyntCoal
FlyntCoal - 2/3/2016, 8:58 PM
@Scorpo W

ell we don't know that they don't exist, just that they haven't been referenced. TV show or not, it's still DC, and DC isn't complete without The Big Red S.
Scorpo
Scorpo - 2/3/2016, 10:45 PM
@TheGustache Everyon on Arrow never mentions Superman or Supergirl, neither does anyone on Flash, and vice versa for Supergirl.
If they all exist in the same universe (which they don't) then that would take some serious writing
FlyntCoal
FlyntCoal - 2/4/2016, 8:02 AM
@Scorpo

My bad, I didn't mean that the Superman from the show Supergirl, I just meant Superman in general. Maybe he's not Superman yet BUT he certainly exists.

We know 'a' Superman exists because Rip Hunter specifically mentions that he's seen "Men of Steel die..."
Scorpo
Scorpo - 2/4/2016, 3:42 PM
@TheGustache Rip Hunter is a time traveler. He may have seen that happen, but that doesn't mean these characters will be in this universe....ever
FlyntCoal
FlyntCoal - 2/4/2016, 9:37 PM
@Scorpo

We may never get to see them, but they exist I assure you.
Toonstrack
Toonstrack - 2/6/2016, 1:11 PM
@Abary - @Scorpo

So you REALLY think Bats wouldn't have investigated a large explosion and shock wave coming from a city, let alone all the superhumans showing up? You don't think he would know about Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad, or frickin Ra's Al Ghul? Let's admit it, his name's inclusion was just some fan service, but there is little sense behind it.

This could lead to a Gotham crossover. Maybe he builds Batman a new suit for his 15th birthday.

Its just me or someone else dosen't want to see Batman in this Flash/Arrow universe? Idk but it would be stupid seeing Bruce interacting with Felicity or Cisco . Just imagine Cisco making a new Batsuit for Bruce or Felicity making jokes about the Batcave , this would be soo stupid . Bruce its a smart guy and if Batman were in this universe that would mean every [frick]ing one would know his secret identity , like everyone knows Oliver is the Arrow and Barry is the Flash , i just want CW to be away from Batman and Superman , maybe Bruce can show up in Supergirl , they're doing a nice job with Martian Manhunter and Supergirl can handle herself without a team flash or a team arrow .
I just think its stupid Barry needs to have a full team helping him every [frick]ing time for everything , Barry should be a smart guy , i know that team flash and team arrow are there for character development , but its just stupid :/

DTor91 - 2/3/2016, 5:45 PM
@JaredLetoJoker - I'm in the same boat with you on that one, man. There's already too much of a Batman influence on Arrow as it is, just leave it be.
