THE FLASH Actress Kiersey Clemons Confirms That She'll Make Her Debut As Iris West In JUSTICE LEAGUE

Rumors that Iris West would be making her big-screen debut in Justice League seemed to be debunked some time ago, but now Kiersey Clemons confirms that her scenes have already been shot...

Though her involvement in the DCEU was called in to question when Dope director Rick Famuyiwa parted ways with The Flash, Kiersey Clemons will still play Iris West in the Scarlet Speedster's first solo movie outing... provided it ever actually gets up and running, that is.

The Flash's production woes aside, Clemons will definitely get to play Iris on the big screen, as the actress confirmed that she's already shot scenes for Justice League during an interview with Modeliste Magazine:

"This November, I’m making a cameo in Justice League as Iris West and it’s the first time that you meet her before we get to see her in The Flash with Ezra Miller. It was my first time doing something so extravagant like that. We filmed in London and that’s one of my favorite places."

Though West probably won't make much more than a cameo appearance in Justice League, it's still a great way to set up The Flash by introducing members of his supporting cast. Now all we need is a director!

Check out some pics from Clemons' Modeliste photoshoot below.

She was awesome in Dope. Good to see her stick around after Famiyuwa left. Hope the Flash is worked out soon very much looking forward to see the speed force done cinematically.

@EnnisFan - Well we sort of know how it looks already. Unless you want to reduce it and say it is just the lightning trail.

@NinnesMBC - I'm not really sure what you're getting at haha that's just a trailer

@EnnisFan - Yeah it's from the trailer but it's what we're gonna see in more detail, so I doubt they're gonna change those and put something else different.

@NinnesMBC - oh ok, well yeah I wouldn't say it's reducing it but I mean moreso the elements that come with the speed force

@NinnesMBC - When it's slow motion, shouldn't flash be moving at a normal pace. Like in the animated movies. It always bothered me in the Flash CW series.

@NinnesMBC - In the first gif, to me he's definitely throwing something. Speed Force lightning?

@Stealthduck - I does look like that, doesn't it? I think that's just their style for running, to differentiate from the TV Flash.

@Luminus - Maybe.....only five months of waiting to find out.

@SmilingTRex - It kind of depends, but the short answer is no. The idea is that his so fast he'll even move fast even in slow motion. Wouldn't work as well in animation I guess.

@Philip - What I meant to say was, him being so fast that in slow motion, he shouldn't be slow. In Flash Point Paradox, there is a scene where the action slows down but Barry doesn't. But in the CW show, whenever action is shown in slowmo, Flash is also slow.
Just like in this trailer.

Incest assured.

So does that mean Wally West will be black or mixed in the DCEU as well?
DillonEnnis
DillonEnnis - 6/13/2017, 6:23 PM
@Dinotron - I don't think so necessarily because currently black and white Wally exist in the same universe and they could try to differentiate themselves from the tv show a little more by having both but probably atill too far out to say
Beetleborg

@Dinotron - It would be cool to see Wally be white and Iris black. Iris is suppose to be his Aunt in the comics. Many families are blended now a days, my own is very blended, would be very cool to see.

@Dinotron - I think that's what they're doing to avoid the possibility of Wally seeming to be purely a "replacement" to the Flash or a junior Flash. Just a way to make him visually more of a distinct character. I'm not sure that'll be the path they take but I'm also not sure why they would make Iris black if Wally isn't as well.
Philip

@Dinotron - Not necessarily. There's a bunch of different ways Wally could be white and have a black/mixed aunt, if that's what WB wants.

Is it wrong for me to wish she was white? Like I'm not trying to start an issue here but like... She's played by a black actress on the show so..
