Warner Bros. Discovery boss David Zaslav's decision to move forward with The Flash and take no disciplinary action of any sort against troubled star Ezra Miller did not sit well with a lot of people, but the Scarlet Speedster's first solo movie is still on track to race into theaters next June with Miller set to suit-up as the Fastest Man Alive.
Aside from a brief SDCC teaser that was never officially released, we've yet to see any footage from the film, but speculation is mounting that a first look could be imminent after The Flash's Twitter account shared an updated logo.
The new title treatment isn't a million miles away from the previous design, but there is a slight change to the lettering and a completely different color scheme.
Based on what we've heard, The Flash went over very well during test-screenings, which could be why the studio doesn't seem to be overly concerned about the public's perception of Miller. It might be a different story when the movie opens to general audiences, however!
Though no official synopsis has been released, The Flash is expected t be (loosely) based on the Flashpoint comic book arc, and is rumored to serve as a "rest" of sorts for the DCU. Both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will return as their respective takes on Batman, and the movie will also introduce Sasha Calle as Supergirl.
