Yesterday, tickets for The Flash went on sale and Warner Bros. has now released the movie's final trailer. If this looks familiar, it's because it was recently shared online as a Chinese teaser for the DC Comics adaptation, but you can now enjoy it in glorious 4K!
We see a lot more of Ben Affleck's Batman, while Jeremy Irons' Alfred Pennyworth also makes an appearance. Kiersey Clemons' Iris West (first introduced in Zack Snyder's Justice League) shows up for a brief exchange with Barry Allen, but there's a much bigger talking point here.
That shot of Supergirl asking if the Scarlet Speedster is "ready"? It's not in the cut that's currently being screened and is from The Flash's original ending. Could this be a sign it will be restored? We doubt it, but it's a possibility.
In other news, a fan who attended a May 22 screening of The Flash in Miami, Florida, has revealed details on an altercation between a fan and a security guard.
According to @AjepArts, when this person was caught recording parts of the movie on their cell phone, they flew into a rage, threw their soda at others in attendance, and even punched a security guard before being ejected. As far as we're aware, Ezra Miller wasn't in attendance, so they're in the clear in this instance.
Check out The Flash's final trailer below.
Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.
That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.
The Flash races into theaters on June 16.
