With its pilot airing in the Fall of 2014, The CW's The Flash has now managed to produce seven seasons (the last two being in the midst of a pandemic) and it looks to have no intention of slowing down.

Podcast 241 of 241 Studios managed to get a hold of Jess Carson, staff writer on the show, to talk about the writer's room and what it took to get in there in the first place. Working on the last two seasons, Jess has "Written By" credits on SE06E18 "Pay the Piper" and SE07E15 "Enemy at the Gates". Her latest episode saw an army of Godspeed's attack Central City, with "Team Flash" putting their family plans on hold to deal with the oncoming threat.

Jess was born and raised in Little Rock, AR, discovering a love for film by creating with her local community before branching out to New York City. The following podcast showcases her journey to the Arrowverse while also touching upon showrunner Eric Wallace, his method of running the room, and what it takes to keep the "Fastest Man Alive" entertaining week after week.

Not the best written show on the CW.

I can literally feel the network execs influence in every episode but I can tell the writers do the best with what they're working with.
