Although a recent report indicated that most of Ezra Miller's legal troubles appeared to have "gone away," The Flash star is still facing a lengthy prison sentence if convicted of felony burglary.

According to Deadline, Miller pled not guilty to the charge this morning, but if things don't go their way, the actor could be looking at a maximum of 26 years behind bars as well as over $2,000 in fines.

Miller was charged with felony burglary in Stamford, Vermont earlier this year after allegedly stealing three bottles of liquor from neighbor Isaac Winokur's pantry. Said to be in a "jovial and chipper mood," the actor was allowed to appear remotely for the session in the criminal division of the Green Mountain State’s Superior Court.

Miller was told to stay away from Winokur and was also prohibited from interacting with another Vermont resident, Aiden Early, as conditions of their release.

Though Miller's behaviour has caused major headaches for Warner Bros. Discovery, the studio is still set to release The Flash next year. The Barry Allen actor released a statement apologizing for his actions and promising to undergo treatment for their mental health issues, but not everyone was convinced they were being sincere.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse actress Issa Rae recently brought up the Miller situation during an interview with Elle.

“The stuff that’s happening with Ezra Miller is, to me, a microcosm of Hollywood. There’s this person who’s a repeat offender, who’s been behaving atrociously, and as opposed to shutting them down and shutting the production down, there’s an effort to save the movie and them. That is a clear example of the lengths that Hollywood will go to to save itself and to protect offenders. So, don’t do that, and women may be able to thrive. They won’t have to live in fear of keeping silent because it’ll ruin their careers. It’s just a constant pattern of abuse that’ll only persist if Hollywood continues to insist on being this way.”

Whatever happens, it's looking increasingly likely that Miller will not be returning as the Scarlet Speedster after this first solo outing.

Ugh. I can’t wait until I never have to think about Ezra Miller again. Just go away.

@santoanderson - Exactly like the way RDJ paid for Armie Hammer's rehab and sheltered him in a house of his own whilst criminal charges were applying.

Will he be convicted?

I doubt it

If he is convicted will he serve even half that?

No

@dracula - hell Jussie Smollet was ground guilty and served what 2 days before his lawyers got him out. If Miller was convicted then Miller would probably only get house arrest for a couple years.

I'm sure they'll skirt by with a slap on the wrist, as most Hollywood stars do.

Lol 26 years for stealing 3 bottles of booze?

I know the guy has a building wrap sheet, but the most that's going to come out of this one is that $2000 fine.

@tmp3 - Keaton doesn’t even need to work anymore lol. Whatever he’s doing now he’s doing because it looks interesting and/or he wants to do something fun so he’s likely just thinking “Oh that sucks”

@Thing94 - it’s mostly because keaton seems to love playing batman so much it would be a bummer if his new projects sank, even though he’s 90% not gonna see them lol
also idk about retire, feels like he’s been putting some of the best work of his career recently haha
