With' The Flash' being red hot right now after Tuesday's episode it should come as no surprise that a Flash/Arrow spin-off is in the works.  If it does come to pass it will feature such characters as the Atom, Captain Cold and Professor Martin Stein as played by Victor Garber. He said he was very excited to get the chance to play Stein again.  According to Garber he's not quite sure what the plans for his chararcter are yet but he said "I' m sure I'll get into all sorts of hijinks, but I think it will be fun".

Executive producer Greg Berlanti also chimed in on the proposed spin-off.  He said each show has it's own identity with Arrow being more of a crime family saga show with the Flash having more of a sci-fi/cop show feel to it.  He went on to say a team up show will have it's own identity as well and that he thinks of each show as it's own distinct universe with distinct tones.  It will be intersting to see what the tone of a spin-off will be and one has to wonder will more characters from the DCU be added over time.
