BARRY HAS FUN WITH HIS NEW POWERS BUT A SETBACK MAKES HIM QUESTION HIS ABILITY TO BE A HERO — Barry (Grant Gustin) escorts Iris (Candice Patton) to a university gathering honoring scientist Simon Stagg (guest star William Sadler). When six gunmen storm the event, Barry changes into The Flash and tries to stop them. While he does save a man’s life, he passes out before he can capture the robbers, which frustrates him. As Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) scramble to find out what’s wrong with Barry, Joe (Jesse Martin) comes down hard on Barry for taking the law into his own hands and risking his life. Barry realizes that it wasn’t six gunmen but a metahuman named Danton Black (guest star Michael Christopher Smith), who can make multiples of himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes even more intrigued by the “red streak.” David Nutter directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Geoff Johns.
OLIVER SEARCHES FOR AN IDENTITY BEYOND THE ARROW — With crime in Starling City at an all-time low thanks to the Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his team, Oliver thinks he can finally balance being both the Arrow and Oliver Queen and asks Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date. However, when a new villain (guest star Peter Stormare) emerges, who has claimed the name Vertigo from the recently deceased Count, Oliver is caught off-guard and someone close to him is hurt. Oliver and a newly suited up Roy (Colton Haynes) take on the Count. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) becomes a father, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is promoted to Captain, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) joins Arrow’s inner circle and Felicity gets a part-time job at a tech store to make ends meet. Also, Oliver fights to regain his company, Queen Consolidated, but comes up against a very worthy opponent – the charming Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). Glen Winter directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Jake Coburn.

@m0th3r Pretty accurate. In my case though parkour was the mean by which I could feel like DareDevil or T'Challa... but essentially yeah, typical peak human conditioned superheroes (like Batman as well) is what parkour made you feel.

They should dump the name "Arsenal" for now and go with Red Arrow. That way, they can give a reason for updating Oliver's name to GREEN Arrow as a means of differentiating between the two.

"It was the Arrow guy..."
"Which one?"
"The Green Arrow."

@SuperPickle that's a actually a great idea. Also, does everyone in the Arrowverse just use bows? Guns must be crap there or something cuz everytime I see a villain, he's bow hunting, besides Slade.

@ThemightyDucks

Sure seems to be the standard. Lol. Nyssa Al'Ghul, Malcolm, Komodo, Oliver, and Roy.

Wish Diggle was Arsenal and Roy Red Arrow, you know what I wish Diggle just got himself a [frick]ing costume and a mask. Make him Red Arrow if Arsenal is already taken!

@HurricaneXavier I don't wanna assume to know the going ons of Assassins, I'm just saying that if I were an assassin a gun that fires bullets would seem to help me...you know... assassinate people better lol. I get that it's a comic book tv show, it's just something that makes me chuckle.

@HurricaneXavier, not saying it's unfounded that so many use bows, just interesting. Makes perfect sense, actually.

@KryptoKNIGHT I like that idea, too! It's like "Penguin". A nickname that bugs the shit out of him. Lol! Plays well into his rage issues.
