At the Baltimore Comic-Con's 'Marvel: Your Universe' panel, the first question directed to the group asked how much the upcoming Marvel movies would link up with each other. Bendis recapped that "Thor" would be coming out first in May 2011, with "The First Avenger: Captain America" movie hitting theaters the following June or July. He also confirmed again that all of the movies would have certain threads that run through for those excited to see connections.

"I'm Thor. A Jewy Thor," Bendis said when asked about casting for the flicks. On more of a serious note, the "New Avengers" writer added, "I was reading the new script just last night. Very, very good."

I'm simply hoping he isn't over hyping this film's script and when the time comes, it's a major fail.

Awesome! It's a good sign that Bendis is happy with it.

The Thor script better be damn good! He's an extremely tricky character to adapt into film, it's up to the script and director to ensure he makes the transition safely.

I have plenty of faith in Branagh as the director, so the script is really the thing that will hold the movie together for me. This is a great sign that the script will do so!

Guys, come on now - dont you realise that they're going to have to re-cast Thor and Iron Man now!? Downey Jr and Hemsworth cant even compete with O'Donnells great acting skill! I hear that Clooney will be Cap and Arnie's gonna be playing Thor - thats what I call an Avengers movie! ;D

Yeah, we should just start putting random ideas as news, and claim they're from legit sources, meanwhile no article related is found on the source :)

*sigh*

Proclaiming the script is awesome is as valuable as a glass of whore spit.

Can they make the translation to screen and make it awesome.

Remember that other movie they claimed the script to be awesome and everyone was pissed, because it sucked? Remember that one?

I hopeth we see the Classic Thor, with his Olde English style of speech. It always gave him a more noble air, more like a god should talk. Look, Thor talking like Snoop Dogg or like "wuuddup G?" or something just would NOT sound in character. I'm also hoping that we get to see him in his classic uniform. Again, very dignified and something a god would wear.

DDD- I'm with ya on that! The Avengers are my favorite hero team, and I want this to be as close to perfect as we can get. A good Thor movie will be a step in the right direction.

I definitely dont want a lot of the shakespearean talk...it'll just end up being annoying as hell!

I like Bendis as a writer but I find that most of his stuff ends up being pretty disappointing (House of M and Secret Invasion especially) The results always end up being quite good but what he does to get there I always find a little underwhelming! I would much prefer if Mark millar were in charge of all of Marvel big "events!
