On What He Thinks Of His Fellow Avengers Cast Members:
I saw them all at Comic Con and various places. They're all great guys - and Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner and Scarlett and Sam Jackson. Everybody's a helluva lot of fun thus far. We haven't got together and discussed the film yet. I guess I can't say much, because it's been very limited.
On His Last Collaboration With Joss Whedon, Cabin In The Woods:
It's such a different type of film, and very ensemble...But no. Joss will probably cut me out of The Avengers if I talk about Cabin!
On The Similarites Between Working With J.J. Abrams And Joss Whedon:
Drew Goddard directed Cabin, and Joss had written it with him. I said to Drew and Joss, "Do you guys know JJ? Because they're all exactly the same!" They have the same amount of fun and the same witty and quick...You get in a banter match with them and you lose. I remember the best piece of direction I got from JJ was when I was on a cable when the explosion happens [in Star Trek]. He comes up and he goes, "Yeah, um, less Superman and more super [frick]ed!" They're just guys who know and love every aspect of storytelling in this business. It's not a job for them; they really do love it. You get swept away in that.
With an all star cast which includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury,
Thor is set to be released in the UK on April 29 and shortly after in the US on May 6, later this year!
The Avengers will follow next year on May 4.
