Same thing happened to Bale with Batman Begins. He was coming off of the Machinist and the costume designers didn't think he'd put on as much weight as he did. He went overboard in fact, and had to lose some weight so that the suit would fit.

Oh hemsworth.....you better be a good actor. Cause no matter how hot you are if you dont do well as Thor I'm gunna hate you. I dont care if your abs are glorious, I care more about acting skills than how hot you are *believe it or not*

Ok this gets me really angry, every ounce of muscle this guy gained for the role of Thor should have been utilized. The only result of him being bulkier would of been a more accurate Thor. Fcking re-stitch the costume if you have to but don't sacrifice size...its THOR for christ sake.

14 months back I admit to thinking this movie wouldn't work, couldn't imagine Thor turning out like it has. "Hemsworth?! Who? Some guy from 'home and away'? Really?"

Hemsworth has pleasantly suprised me and Thor is my most anticipated movie this summer. Not long left and it's gonna be awesome.

As much as I'm dying for this film, I would have waited another year if they stuck him in the gym and got his body right. That clip where they show him without a shirt on is just f**ked, he has the body of a Goddamn volleyball player, not Thor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope in the Avengers they go with a look that more futurist military like Metal Gear Solid 4

I never get why people want Thor SO big. I know he is an asgardian warrior but, jeez, he needs to be quick and agile to fight.

I don't want him looking like some lumbering heavy weight boxer - or like some dude who is just waiting to get oiled up so he can be judged in a Mr Universe competition!

CH seems to have got it perfect. In fact he looks freakin HUGE!

Orphix- Try looking at a Thor comic, look at the pictures, you don't have to read a word. Maybe then you'll understand!!!!!!
