Thor: Love and Thunder is easily one of 2022's most highly anticipated comic book movies, especially with Thor: Ragnarok helmer Taika Waititi back in the director's chair. We've known since it was announced that Natalie Portman's Jane Foster will become the Mighty Thor, and an awesome new look at the character has been revealed on this promo poster for the Marvel Studios blockbuster.
As suspected, Foster will be wielding a reformed version of Mjolnir that's somehow been reassembled from the hammer's destroyed remains. In terms of Jane's costume, Waititi is definitely sticking close to the comic books, and Portman looks nothing short of awesome in that armour and helmet.
The Mighty Thor isn't the only one with an overhauled appearance, though, as the original God of Thunder is also rocking an updated look that feels very fitting for this new era of the MCU. Elsewhere, we see Valkyrie flying into action, Korg looking every bit the Asgardian, and Thor's two goats.
We're not expecting an official look at Thor: Love and Thunder to be released until next year, though there have been rumblings about a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer dropping soon. If true, expect it to debut sometime around Spider-Man: No Way Home's release next week.
Thor: Love and Thunder arrives in theaters on July 8, 2022.
