Two minutes into this video interview with
Leicester Square TV, English actor Tom Hiddleston, who'll be appearing in next summer's
THOR, speaks on the impressive elements of the film, as well playing the God of Mischief Loki & appearing in the much-anticipated
Avengers movie. Special thanks to my buddy
RealIronMan, who not only found the vid, but also provided a transcript below.
Are the fans [of Thor] going to meet their expectations?
"I hope so, man. I mean... it's been a little bit severe, I haven't seen the whole film yet. But my experience in the shoot was absolutely epic. Kenneth Branagh was... um... I've never seen him work so hard on any project, that I've worked with him on. We've done a few things together. You know, it's grand and the scale of it is huge. It involves gods and monsters, and mortals, and science, and magic.I've had a great time with the god of mischief (Loki). My hair was dyed black, down to about my shoulders, a green cape. I flew, I disappeared, I reappeared. It's going to be cool.
Will you be reappearing in "The Avengers"?"
"I... I can't. I genuinely can't tell you. I simply don't know. I know, that in the comics Loki is one of the reasons the Avengers get together, but there's a whole lot of storyline and I simply don't know, which storyline they've picked yet. So, I would love to be able to give you a nice, juicy exclusive, but I can't ... I'm afraid at this point... but the advantage is really exciting. I was there at Comic-Con (talks about the cast, how it was exciting)."
THOR is scheduled for theaters May 6,2011 in 3D. And rumor has it that the trailer for the film will be premiering in front of Disney's
Tron: Legacy, December 17th. And it makes perfect sense, being that the
Iron Man 2 trailer premiered Dec. 16, and
THOR is set to be released the same time of the year as
that film.
