What should be done with Thor three.
Act 1.
The overarching story should be Surtur attempting to take over the nine realms. To start this he should have the enchantress working for him. As well as Ulik the rock troll. To start we have The Enchantress and Surge break into Odin’s Vault, and take the eternal flame. When Thor fights them, send him to Hel with the enchantresses power and have them escape. Have Ulik lead the Army of rock trolls against the dwarves, along with Ymir the ice giant. They will succeed in doing so.
Act 2.
Now to start act 2 we have Thor in Hel, Surtur in waiting, The enchantress with the Eternal Flame, and Ymir the Ice giant with the twilight sword. Over the course of this act, have Ymir fight Surtur for the sword, and the army of rock trolls. Of course Surtur will win the fight. Have Thor fight Hela in an attempt to escape Hel. Also Odin will muster his army and attack Surtur’s force. By the end of the act, Surtur (with the power of the twilight sword and eternal flame) Will kill Odin, and raise his army of fire demons who were kept imprisoned by Odin’s magic. Thor escaped Hel as well.
Act 3.
Act 3 will start with Surtur and his army planning for attack, Thor back on Asgard looking to muster another force to stop Surtur before he reaches Asgard. Of course the Heroes of Asgard will find a way to defeat Surtur and kill him. However while all of this is happening, the Enchantress and Skurge sneak into Asgard, free Loki, and take control of the City. This will set up the final battle of what is left of the Asgard army, Thor, sif and the Warriors 3 against Skurge, Enchantress, and Loki. Ending in the death of Loki and Skurge, and Enchantress fleeing to Midguard in order to prepare for the Master of Evil. In closing Thor will be appointed as King of Asgard, and the nine realms will stay protected by him.
Why do I feel this is a good story?
1. Villains.
We see many of Thor’s great villains throughout, as well as Ymir vs Surtur which is the battle of the two greatest giants in the nine realms. Also we see Odin and Surtur square off.
2. Thor
We see Thor go through hel, as well as we see him slay his own brother. Rise to the title of King, and deal with the death of his father. If you ask me that is some solid development for the character.
3. The future
This storyline opens up the ability for the Masters of Evil in the MCU. The greatest villain team next to only the Brotherhood of Mutants, and if you ask me that’s something to be excited about. Also it still leaves quite a bit open for another film (beta ray bill)
Why can this fail?
1. The usual
Number one of course is just what many movies fail from. Of course poor directing acting Ect.
2. To cluttered
I will admit, it is a lot to pack into a 2 hour film, so of course you will need to ask for a near Return of the king length film, which wouldn’t be so bad would it?
3. Spiderman 3 again?
Whenever we see to many villains in a movie, I assume all of us think back to Spiderman 3. The key would be to not fall into this rut.
In closing just throwing out the Idea for Thor 3, hope you enjoyed it. Love? Hate? Leave your comment below.
