Paramount Pictures has released some character posters for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, giving us new looks at three of the principal Robots in Disguise.

There's the legendary Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), his Maximal counterpart Optimus Primal (Ron Perlman), and new Autobot Mirage (Pete Davidson), who, as long-time fans are sure to be aware, may not prove to be the most trustworthy ally.

We assume more banners are on the way, so keep an eye out for updates.

A theatre standee for the movie has also been spotted in the wild, giving us a look at most of the Autobot and Maximal characters assembled.

Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new breed of Transformer – the Maximals – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.

Steven Caple Jr. directs, and the sequel also stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Liza Koshy, John DiMaggio, David Sobolov, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, and Cristo Fernández.

Rise of the Beasts arrives in theatres June 9, 2023.

Let’s see how this plays…
But.

Might have preferred they stuck to Cartoon Storyline of beast wars and removed the Autobots almost entirely.

Then again beast wars is problematic if you want to have human characters involved.

@IronGenesis - But why have human characters at all? I don't understand, transformers are already anthropomorphic. The best parts of Bumblebee is the stuff on cybertron. Beast Wars realized this(saved them having to animated human features as well) that you don't need the human characters. In fact no one cares about the human characters. When will they learn?

@IronGenesis - there kinda humans in beast wars cave people beast wars crossover with g1 in last season trying save Optimus prime spark from dying it’s different way kinda same way of doing it.,

Cartoons made changes first to characters movies follow them at lead wheel armada was autobot who became deception who was never scientist but warrior

@thebagman - same. Transformers The Movie is probably the first thinh from the animated Transformers I saw, so Hot Rod made a much bigger impression than Optimus.

@NGFB - Correction, all the movies that weren't the 2007 film (which, looking back, was 'okay') or Bumblebee were stupid.
