New TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT Featurette Gives Us A Look At Sir Anthony Hopkins In Character

Not a fan of Michael Bay? You might be after watching this latest Transformers: The Last Knight featurette. The Director heard about a six-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier cross named Freya - who had been dubbed "Britain's loneliest dog" after spending 6 years in a shelter, and being rejected by 18,000 potential owners - and decided to give her a part in the movie.

Freya (who you'll be pleased to hear has since been adopted by one of the crew members) plays Anthony Hopkins' character's pooch in the movie, and both can be seen together in the video below. As you can see, unless Uther Pendragon had access to a very modern wardrobe, Hopkins is playing someone else entirely.

Transformers: The Last Knight also stars Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Stanley Tucci and John Goodman, and is set to hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
