Market Saw has dropped the news that "Transformers 3" will be shot in 3D, not converted by using the Arri Alexa Pace 3-D camera. It is the same camera system that Martin Scorsese is using for his own upcoming 3-D feature, "Hugo Cabret."

"Transformers 3" comes to theaters July 1, 2011.
