We're still waiting on a trailer for The Boys season 3, but thanks to the latest episode of the “Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman” web-series, we now have a first look at one of the new supes we'll meet when the show returns next year.
We don't know a whole lot about Nick Wechsler's (Roswell High, Revenge) Blue Hawk (he doesn't appear in the comic), but he's described as a "patriotic superhero" in the video, and if his outfit is any indication, the character will be introduced as a police officer parody.
Wechsler joins fellow new faces Laurie Holden as the Crimson Countess, Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Sean Patrick Flannery as Gunpowder, and Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic.
Season 2 of The Boys ended with the death of Butcher's wife and the apparent disbanding of the team. We know they will reunite, however, most likely in attempt to bring down the increasingly psychotic Homelander. Queen Maeve was able to blackmail her rage-fuelled leader into backing off in the finale, but actor Anthony Starr has already confirmed that he will really let loose in Season 3.
It's also been confirmed that the highly controversial Herogasm comic book arc will be adapted, and showrunner Eric Kripke has hinted that the episode will be every bit as depraved as the comic.
