THE BOYS Gag Reel Features Some Funny NSFW Outtakes From Season 3 Of The Prime Video Series

The official The Boys Twitter account has been promising fans another gag reel for a while now, and Prime Video has finally debuted a series of fun outtakes from the bonkers third season...

The Boys is an incredibly fun (if occasionally seriously f*cked up) series, and if this season 3 gag reel is any indication, the cast and crew had just as good a time making it as we did watching.

Prime Video has been teasing fans with this for a while, and the show's official Twitter account has finally delivered on its promise by debuting some very funny outtakes and bloopers. Highlights include the usual line-flubs, certain actors reverting to their real accents, and Karl Urban making fun of Jensen Ackles pulling a very Robert De Niro-esque face.

We really shouldn't need to give an NSFW warning for anything associated with The Boys at this stagebut just in case, be wary of some salty language.

Season 4 of The Boys is currently filming. Plot details are a mystery for now, but we do know that Jeffrey Dean Morgan has signed on for a mysterious role. He'll be joined by Orange Is the New Black‘s Susan Heyward and The Following‘s Valorie Curry, who will be joining the fray as rookie Supes Sister Sage and Firecracker, respectively. We also learned that Cameron Crovertti (Ryan) has been upped to series regular, which is hardly surprising after the sinister final shot of season 3.

During a recent interview with Collider, Kripke confirmed that Ryan will be focal point of the fourth season.

"Moving forward, Ryan is a really important part of it. Both Butcher and Homelander have very good reasons to fight over Ryan because the stakes could not be higher. If Ryan goes Homelander's way and then there are two Homelanders in the world, then that's a nightmare for the planet. If Butcher can get Ryan into the light, then that's probably actually the best weapon they have against Homelander. It's always been a show about family, and so much of Season 3 was about fathers, so I think it makes sense that Season 4 is about sons."

Ryan already seems to have chosen "Homelander's way," but that doesn't mean he's beyond saving. Butcher made a major mistake by pushing the easily-influenced youngster away in the false believe that he'd be safer without such a fatalistic father figure in his life, but this completely backfired when Victoria Neuman gave Homelander his son's location.

This probably looks like the most fun any production on a super hero show/movie could have besides the gigantic cast on infinity war and endgame.

I really loved Season 3, Antony Starr and Giancarlo Esposito were the standouts of the season, though Jensen Ackles was hilarious in every scene.
